i have a 32 inch and a 24 inch monitor. the 24 inch is for gaming and the 32 for content creation, consumption and work. that said i can run fine on just the one monitor

Got some positive reception first time posting it a thread or so back. Here it is again. Thanks Jow Forums for years of these threads, I soaked up all the do's and don't.

Cable management is a bit iffy towards the tower, namely from the stock cables on the far end monitor. When I do my riczen upgrade with fancy cables I'll be sure to get a long power/DP cable to clean it up.

Speaker stands are just regular 15cm mic table stands, though with a 5/8" (Genelecs have a 3/8" thread) so I have to use thread adapters.

Shelf is from Ikea but they don't sell them anymore. There's one similar to it locally at least.

Full points for observation. It runs Xubuntu - everything works perfectly, the biggest issue was getting the audio to work - I didn't find any other distro where I could get it to work apart from Ubuntu. The solution is here erdnaxe.github.io/chromebook-linux/

Yea I have the same model and was going to install Ubuntu on it but it said that audio doesn't work so I didn't bother. If it's working properly, I'll def take a look. Thanks user.

Thing runs nearly stone cold.
Had it running 10 hours non-stop with cover off while mending it when I first got it.
If something fails in it catastrophically it gives me a reason to mend it properly.

That is how I got both tables. One came from a garage sale or $10 the other was for free from a church getting rid of stuff. I've used both for well over 9 years now since college. I've just never gotten around to actually replacing them.

Color one, CTM-644. Just like yours. I sold my CPC to a friend, but I still have the TV tuner, which is waiting in pieces in the workshop. I'm trying to get a composite input modded in, but I can't for the life of me stop the AGC circuit from fucking the picture up when it's fed a signal with Macrovision encoding. Maybe I'll just give up and revert it to its original state, and use the RF modulator in my VCR. Just like the developers intended.

You can use any old telly to feed a RF signal in.
The casing on my tape machine's only MDF.
Either way it does get quite warm but it's never on long enough to do it any harm.

I'm still using my trusty vga monitor from 2008 hooked up to an active adapter. No problems with workflow whatsoever, on the contrary. When i tried out a 26" LED not only was the lightning shit but i couldn't see shit on it either
