>still using that goddamn botnet uHide Origin

We need a real adblocker now, ABP is paid shill bloated bullshit and uBO is a botnet that really doesn't block shit (watch the page as ads are just hidden, and watch your cache as ads are still there, fuck, even bloated shill ABP actually blocked ads that it wasn't paid to keep).

I tried using it. It pretty much crushed my PC with useless bloat cycles. I tried it like 4 times on difference occasions with the same result. I don't have some old as shit PC either. Hell I can run firefox with 100 tabs and have a few OS up in VM without problems, but fuck UO.

I'll take things that never happened for 800 Alex.

>using greentext in title
what websites do you visit?
are we talking about the same addon here?

Lads redpill me on addons

which ones are a must?

ublock origin.
redpills cause brain damage btw.

>uBO is a botnet that really doesn't block shit
lolwut. are you bored or brain-damaged?

uBO
Smart HTTPS
Decentraleyes
Steven Black hosts file

umatrix
uBO
Smart HTTPS

Optional:
4chanX and a reverse search plugin

>ads are just hidden
No, that's an inherent defect in Chrome and similar browsers. UO actually blocks them on Firefox or whatever un-botnetted derivative you use.

not op
check crackwatch foe example
crackwatch.com/
the ads generate id name on java on the main java script

*random id

How is this proof the ads are being hidden and not blocked?

>privacy possum
it's the only extension i know of that blocks etags

>Smart HTTTPS
Why use it over HTTPS Everywhere? The latter works, is updated regularly and is developed by the EFF

Because it’s literally just a whitelist whereas SmartHTTPS tries to enforce the actual protocol
t. user of neither

HTTPS Everywhere is bloated piece of shit that relies on whitelists, Smart HTTPS forces websites to use HTTPS

canvas blocker
https everywhere (or similar)
privacy badger
smart referer
firefox containers

as well user

in ublock origin there is a tool you can use to remove anything manulay (i use it on other things then ads)
if you use it on it and refreh the page it will come out

or you can check it for youe self
1- right click on the add
2- click on inspect element
3- you can see the id on ()
4- refresh the page and do 1-3

1- *ads

HTTPS Everywhere does the same dude.
Never encountered a site, that didn't had HTTPS in the address with it

No it doesn’t you retard. Stop recommending shit way outside your scope

>he uses umatrix
>he doesn't block first party scripts
what's the point then?

The plugin is for page elements not just the URL - immages and such can still be downloaded over http unless you force it. They are spearate from the main page, and not revealled by tthe URL

Just open dev tools and on the network tab refresh to see the requests for stuff, then sort for http, assuming you are not using a plugin

uMatrix is just an extended version of uBlock. It's useful for blocking certain connections and content (i.e. images, frames or scripts).

It's only for pendantic web users, uBlock allows normies to block 90% of unneeded scripts.

some website need the first party java script to load
try it on crackwatch
crackwatch.com

check

>umatrix help normies
>youtube doesn't load proply
>not knowing how to change rule
yeah right...

uBlock Origin block ads fine and you're full of shit

But if i'd had to choose something else then this would be AdGuard AdBlocker which i consider the second best ad/content blocker after uBlock Origin.

Blocks ads.
Hides the empty frame.

>Violentmonkey is chinkware
>uBO has become adware
>4chanX has become botnet
Fuck brehs, what do we do now?

i have noticed that too. the ads are often visible a second before the addon hides them

i use firefox and the banners are visible for a second before they are hidden

ABANDON SHIP

take the blackpill Jow Forums

and if you have prefetching enabled, that would explain why you might have ads in your browser cache. If you didn't already know those things, you aren't qualified to critique ad blockers.

> The plugin is for page elements not just the URL - immages and such can still be downloaded over http unless you force it.
Depends on a browser, Chrome, for example, doesn't allow mixed content, at least from the same domain.

what you mean wont block shit. i have not seen one single ad since i installed ublock origin

i dont see normal ads but the Jow Forums banners are sometimes visible. maybe its that prefetch thing then but it should be disabled

He wants to fill your cache up with even more ads now.

Attached: 1553715424565.png (367x177, 6K)

its an adblocker tho. only the lists need constant updates.

I think you have that backwards?

What does that mean? I've just noticed it and don't want to update now.

He's probably runs a separate cloud storage service and is planning to have his uBO users as storage servers, instead of paying a hosting company.

Read the changelog. He explains in detail what it's about.

The question here is why would I go to that shit website?. 90% of internet security and privacy relies on the user's cognitive capabilities

That is literally a plot line from Silicon Valley.

Are you retarded? The tool you are using is the cosmetic filter, and like the name says it is COSMETIC only. There is no network filter for that ad because it is generated from first-party javascript. The only way you can block those is to disable/block javascript. Using a different adblocker would not make any difference.

Post yfw this is real and it immediately becomes a decentralized child porn storage Network and literally anyone who has ublock is now eligible to go to federal pound me in the ass prison through no fault of their own

It did that already you dumbass

Turn off prefetching in about:config.
The "client side data" is the filter lists you moron. Your browser creates your browser cache, not ublock. If you have prefetching enabled, that shit gets loaded into your cache before you even click it. Prefetching can bypass ANY adblocker.

Ad spaces are hidden, not ads. You fucking retard. It blocks domains directly so ads don't get a chance to load. Stop spreading fake news and kys.

You only need uBO. It acts as no-script itself if you enable advanced settings. Maybe httpsEverywhere unless there's a config to block http connections without an addon.
uMatrix if you want a little more control over web content.
Everything else is a meme.

>tfw april fools is next week

In this strict order:

- SMART HTTPS: just because EFF'S HTTPS EVERYWHERE is a bloated shit, on the edge of being a botnet
- NOSCRIPT: Even in allow mode it blocks XSS shit and more.
- DECENTRALEYES: two lines of info about it will illuminate your brain
- UBLOCK ORIGIN: don't reply to op, she's a cunt

Why in this order? because the last extension overrides the others, also logically you may turn to https, then block scripting shit as XSS, then use local CDN shit and finally block more scripts with the mighty uBo.

>unironically thinking ublock origin is botnet
It's time to put Jow Forums down.

Shit like the asinine mental gymnastics OP and co. are pulling out of their asses is why nobody takes freetards seriously.
The "botnet" lives in your heads, rent free

>what are false flags

how're ya doing gorshill

Stop spreading lies cia nigger

>internet shutdown law approved
>memes are now prohibited
>4chanX is a botnet
>uBO now stores unlimited amount of ads on your hard drive so you can get more ads while you browse Windows Explorer
Is this the world we dreamt of?

>4chanX is botnet
wait what??

i had some onion rings at burger king today. they were greasy. didn't like them.

BURGER KING ONION RINGS ARE BOTNET

I want to believe.

>extraordinary claim
>0 evidence supporting claim
>hours later ppl are still replying
*deep sigh* why the fuck do i still come here
