Irfanview - can't disable white sidebars

Irfanview - can't disable white sidebars
nomacs - problems with saving settings
jpegview - too basic

Anyone got recommendations? I used ACDSee but can't handle the bloat anymore.

What white sidebars? I've used IrfanView daily since the late 90s and never had this problem.

Just use gimp for fucks sake

This

FastStone

i like honeyview for viewing, and irfan for cropping/resampling

...

mpv

I still use Honeyview

FastStone

This. Used it for 13 years its based

gwenview

ACDSee 3.1 or 3.2 - you cannot get faster than that, must be written in assembly or something.

just fucking use the default windows image viewer
why do you guys have to be super autist about everything

Honeyview is perfect if you turn off all the UI bloat, which is pretty easy.

XnView

old honeyview version that still has source published

doesn't support many image formats.

Google Picasa

supports
>jpg
>png
>gif
that's all you need

feh

Wrong

This, and only this.
You can remove all picasa crap and leave only picasaviewer.

>Irfanview - can't disable white sidebars

What white sidebars? There are no sidebars.

use an older version. 3.1 is neat.

Take a look at the white bars on the sides. You can't disable them.

Should be work with win7 too

>he doesn't know how to remove caption bar/borders
>blames himself not being comfortable with the window manager on the program
low iq

Thanks, but I shouldn't have to change default window borders just because one program lacks customization. All bars can be removed except that white side-bar. It's ridiculous. That was my only point.

Xnview

Does it animate .gifs?

I didn't think so.

Inviewer

The Eye of GNOME

Oh the border. Well there's a hide command line option but I don't know if it that hides borders or just the everything else.
There are borderless image viewers but I've never tried any of them.

Faststone image viewer
Honeyview maybe.
You're clearly a winfag

Linux doesn't have this problem. Fix your windows dwm settings

That's a stock photo, not a screenshot from my PC. It's an issue everywhere.

It's a WINDOW, it's supposed to have a border

The fucking window border? Really?
1. Windows 10 doesn't have this problem. Upgrade today.
2. Press enter to enter fullscreen mode.

3. Use Winaero Tweaker to change the border thickness. You can't (and don't want to) get rid of it fully because then how would you resize a window?

what a fucking retard. nothing wrong with irfanview.

That option is hardly the point. Also, nomacs is the slowest of all suggested viewers in this thread.

>just use the limited-featured bloatware with shitty UI and bad rendering, what are you, retarded? haha

I'm quite partial to JPEGView but my controls config is pretty barebones. I'm trying to make the keybindings as much like MPV as possible, what configs do you guys use?

>nomacs - problems with saving settings
Not really, they got fixed months ago.

It's still barely passable though.
