Go kill yourself

Why not Firefox?

Vivaldi

malware

Because they're self-crippling leftist fags

>non meme browser
>internet explorer

Pick one.

fuck firefox

>disabled
Hm.

If Jow Forums was a thread, this would be /thread.

It perfectly explains how paranoid and autistic Jow Forums is.

Imagine being so autistic that you think that an optional QA system is malware.

Dude. There was a security bridge wher everyone was able to get connection to your computer wher you are using edge.

>paranoid

>Mozilla wants to estimate Firefox's Telemetry-off population

what makes you think Edge is "rebranded explorer"?

In Windows 10 there is Edge and Internet Explorer side by side.

Because this is the chrom* circle jerk thread. Firefox is the best option for anyone who wants more control.

...

Telemetry, data collection.

Data that is used for marketing and for the dev team to focus on certain things. If telemetry reports that the majority of Firefox users is using , they can improve on

There's alot more to this, but you get the point.

i pity whoever is interested in my porn and gaming

that person needs help

The point it that browser is malware.

>the point it malware!!11!

the biggest issue i have with it is that it doesn't respect deactivated clear type, and the options are a bit too simplistic. also the interface, switching tabs etc, feels slightly clunky.

Do you seriously think chromium or edge does not collect telemetry? Do you think all telemetry is bad?
chromium and edge have telemetry you cannot turn off. That is why ungoogled chromium was made.

Did you even read the article you posted? They describe in it how to opt-out.

They described in a bugzilla issue, few hours before it was sent. No one knew how to turn that shit off prior to it being sent.

Google chrome

lol cuckfox is on its last legs. greedy moz://a deserves it.

what if they steal your porn, then delete it from your computer?

>calling mozilla greedy while inadvertently shilling for google to control all browsers (and user data).

i dont think that could ever happen not even in my dreams

>tfw your the 2.43%

I don'y give a fuck about google. As long as mozilla fucks off I'm happy.

why are you contributing into the killing of the open web? what are you trying to accomplish?

dumb logic/reasoning

How is a world without mozilla killing the ioen web more precisely?

I woulnd't say so. I had their malware extension sent multiple times.

A properly configured and customized Firefox is still the best browser out there overall.
I'm not saying it's "good", mind you. It just happens, however, that every other browser is worse.

Calling it malware isn't accurate. And I'm not saying you didn't get the tests but it's hard to believe this couldn't have been avoided had you knew what you were doing. The extensions or tests were not malicious and did no harm. Using a stable release with a good user.js would have prevented it. That screenshot is of Nightly (pre-alpha build). Is is known that certain telemetry can't be turned off in those builds. It's because they are testing!

That makes no sense, I see more people running Edge than Chrome.

I got it in stable channel. You can read my comment: ghacks.net/2018/09/21/mozilla-wants-to-estimate-firefoxs-telemetry-off-population/#comment-4390844

how is IE not higher

Am I the only one that still unironically uses IE?
If my IE runs faster and smoother than Chrome, what does that mean?

It means you've done terrible, unspeakable things to your Chrome, because stock Chrome beats stock IE.

0/10

Because you gotta be pretty high to be using IE unironically outside of shitty corporate webapps that don't work on anything else or use ActiveX controls.

Firefox is spyware, which is a concern but can be mitigated. Mainly with the falling usage share and increasingly underhanded tactics of mozilla and desperation of mozilla shills, complete avoidance is the only practical choice. Its a dumpster fire that's going to explode.
Not firefox but related, I was reading the other day where rust users are concerned about what will happen with rust when mozilla goes under. The key rust people have already mitigated any effects with other corporate backers. Hosting will be affected for a short time but that's about it according to them. So that's good for rust people.

I hope more people use edge once they change to chrome base.

Actually, in Windows 10, IE is pretty fast, along with Edge.
I'm not shilling for either, as I use Firefox on FreeBSD.

>on windows
>complains about """malware""" in Firefox
You're a fucking retard.

Based.
