this entire thread is cringe. I use Mint and I'm only using it because I can't be fucked to use a better distro. It's OK, that's really it. It has problems like...
It takes ages to boot
It takes ages to turn off
The backlight randomly dims
The backlight controls barely work, the little bar that tells you how bright it is jumps around from 60% to 20% to 80% to 10% when you try and increase the brightness
Cinnamon causes most problems with mint. I only use 10% cpu time and 1.1gb of ram on Mint using firefox/palemoon.
