You login to Edge with MS account not Google account and it uses Bing as default, figure out the rest yourself.

what it does is it imports your data from chrome first (start with your data already selected with your favourites, history and passwords) that is already loaded in your profile and then let you click to delete it (start from scratch).
I might be retarded for starting to use the browser without looking at the welcome page but I never clicked anywhere to opt in data import (and you can't opt out before loading everything). It's just a shitty dark pattern that makes me uninstall immidiatly.
