Nice W-59 but I was looking for an apocalypse watch.
Cool brother. You got the standard 5610?
I looked at that but it's a bit out of my price range and I didn't really like the shiny look. Might get a combi bracelet for mine later on though.

>The terrorist watch
The police is looking for youby now.

>apocalypse
After that you will have a hard time finding batteries. Go for a mechanical watch instead, one that also is self winding.

No casio will ever be effay

this is all I wear anymore desu, love this

I personally don't prefer the negative screen, it just doesn't have that great of viewing angles. I also find the solar and radio sync to be a bit of a meme. You can get the non-solar, no radio dw5600e version for 1/3 of the price and realistically the battery will last you 10 years which is probably longer than the resin band will last anyway.

I'd say it is

mad autism coming through
any suggestions on how to deal with the scratch?

It's solar powered and has a power reserve of 10 months. Even if I have to live in a cave for a season or two it'll be fine.

The one I bought cost only about 20% more than a 5600. I felt the extra features justified the few extra pounds.

Pic related is shaping up to become the next big thing.

It's tough like a G-Shock, except it's much more than a G-Shock, much more than a Protrek, though it remains lofi as fuck.

Best watch I ever got.

good luck dead meat

muh nig

Best dumb smart watch.

Attached: IMG_20181105_134310.jpg (3024x4032, 3.07M)

>constant recharging

I only have to charge it 1-2 times a month. That ain't a constant need brah.

So you just use it as a watch?

What's the point of the GPS if you never use it?

I bought it to replace my dead Pebble, not for GPS. I like my smartwatch to be rugged, waterproof, to provide notifications, have an always on display, no fucking touch screen ( physical button navigation) and long battery life. The GPS is just a bonus that I may use some times.

polyWatch or toothpaste (the abrasive kind) can buff out or reduce scratches in the acrylic

Casio is boss tier.

based techno-arm

>I've already got a bunch of shitters, why should I buy a decent watch
(lmoa

if you're paying more than a couple hundred for a watch you're paying for luxury, not function nor quality.

Jap brands are loved here.

>I'm a poorfag
Yes, we know.

>I'm such a waste of oxygen that I need to waste money in order to feel superior to others
Yes, we know.

how shit / non-shit are the negative displays on g-shocks?

That does seem to be the point where diminishing returns set in.

Post your shitters FUCKAROONIES

How did you know?

It has a backdoor.

sundial or gtfo!

>batteryless
>literally lying
I guess that's why they changed the name to "tough solar" in future versions.

What do you think Jow Forumsoyim? Already own an older Edifice and it is absolutely awesome. Although the bluetooth functionalities seem unnecessary to me.
I just can't stand digital wristwatches for the life of it, but I still appreciate a display for the stopwatch function.

>1998+21
>unironically walking around with a vintage collector's item and relict of the 1980s
Explain yourself.

Can a clothing and self-expression item shout "nerd" louder than a Casio digital does? Because it looks like you glue attached your pocket calculator to your wrist, and neither a colorful housing or elegant strap will fix that.

Which model is this?

Unpopular opinion: G-shocks are fucking stupid.

your argument applies better to watches in general fren

I see idiot people or normies as I like to call them, wearing g-shocks left and right
maybe you need to get out more

my 5610 is the best watch I ever owned

>t. triggered nerd
I referring to the clothing item/tool of having a radiation and appearance of nerdhood, will look awful on a math student's wrist as it does on the wrist of [insert stark contrast here].

>the only solution for a digital watch display is a dot matrix one
Pic related: The only not awful looking Casio digital, ruined because of the archaic dot matrix. Though at least it's acceptable looking compared to others

I like the idea but the watch itself is really damn tacky.

>t. triggered digital-watches-by-Casio collector, unknowingly suffering from lack of sense for beauty and aesthetics

Shit guys, I fucked up. Impulse bought this thing on sale last week thinking it'd be cool for workouts and as a beater or whatever, and I've ended up liking it so much that I find it hard to want to wear my real watches instead. Damn thing is way too convenient.

Attached: DSC00909.jpg (1000x667, 140K)

Step aside, poorfags. Shit’s SO cash.

Agreed, most of the casio watches imo are basic bitch as fuck and I would never look twice.

Never understood the appeal of diver watches outside of diving, big chunky things you'd need a thicc wrist to actually pull off wearing these things as a fashion accessory.

You can get that fancy ratemeter on much cheaper watches.

Attached: casio_aq190w.jpg (922x692, 165K)

Pretty hot. Lets see a pick on your wrist

The Sub wears relatively slim as divers go, and being kinda chunky isn't too bad these days anyway, as long as it's not also a huge dinner plate of a thing like was popular a decade ago. Speaking of being popular a decade ago, though, all black watches are a dead meme, I'd never buy some shit like . If you're gonna get a watch like a sub it's always better to get the most classic model possible, since it's the least likely to go out of style any time soon.

I like 105w

This was the first watch I ever owned back in the day.

Is this from road rash?

Wish they'd make g056b models again

I've got one. Sometimes no real problems with it, but I had it in my bag for a month or two and it stopped receiving time, so I was an hour off due to DST change, but after manually receiving it went to right proper. It's handy and I haven't had issues with legibility like a lot of people indicate. The band is kinda whatever.

What's the smallest, lightest, thinnest, cheapest, reliable watch? F-91w? The lack of water resistance is a bit concerning

Fixed it
Also fuck Rolex

Can't tell if I love it or hate it.

G-shocks are baste.
Had mine for 3 years now, no problems with saltwater, sand or snow, syncs every-night by itself.
