My grandmother has one. It's bulletproof software wise, compact, easy on her eyes, and helps her stay connected. Apple products typically make more sense as accessibility tools for the disabled.

Macshit's one remaining advantage is that it's the only unix that has native support for MS Orifice and Adobe CC+Acrobat. Adobe porting to Linux or Haiku would kill Macshit forever.
