Is BitTorrent a communist plot to make copyright unenforceable?

Copyright and most of intellectual property may be a plot to make the state guarantee oligarchic monopolies on everything,

bittorrent is an efficent file sharing protocol, what is communist in it.
what would copyright owners win if i had to download my debian images from the main server? other than making debian pay more hosting

No, it's an anarcho-illegalist plot to make copyright unenforceable. Piracy is an act of individual reclamation; an intrinsic right the poor have to deny the rich more undue wealth through acts of theft, robbery, or other subversion of law.

that's a sophisticated way to say that you are a poorfag who can't afford to pay for license.

i hope so, and i hope bittorrent wins,

make all digital content free

seething c*pyrighters

>what is communist in it.
it enables equal access to a resource regardless of means.

Here's an unsophisticated method:

You're on Jow Forums. We pirate here. We have a board *dedicated* to piracy. Don't be a faggot.

I don't see it. You're implying that this resource is scarce and that everyone owns the hardware, knowledge and perhaps membership at a private tracker.

Copyright is communism.

depends on how you define access
it can be simply encrypted
does having encrypted data count as access to a resource?

Hello FBI, trying to find a way to make a law stating that downloading torrents is treason are we?

I have the ability but no motivation. Anyone with moderate computer literacy should be familiar with torrents

Copyright is a communist plot. It is not the job of the government to enhance innovation or art. Such a thing is protectionism, socialism, and communism.

What kind of fucked up tangent did you pull out of your arse to mix file sharing technology with politics?

Copyright is a Communist plot to fuck with the market.

>unironically being against sharing

this
I really hate the companies that license and translates things into English.
I am totally plotting to abuse this technology and terrorize their stock ticker.

file sharing technology has enormous financial implications and is thus inextricably linked to politics

fpbp also stop making this thread OP you baiting nigger

The only thing FILESHARING is doing, is making everything fucking subscription based.

The state of gaming is fucking terrible thanks to pirating. Now it's all free to play with loot box garbage, skins, and emjoi dances.

Those issues are were all brought about specifically because people pay for such things. If no one did, it would go away. The only thing piracy really brought about was really intrusive DRM.

Copyright is anti-capitalist though? There is no scarcity when it comes to software. Copyright is 100% enforced by government violence.

subscriptions and software as a service are related to the agile development methodology, not piracy.
You'll find software like Office 365 and Autodesk Fusion 360 which have no concerns over piracy and have never had concerns over piracy... but that's because these companies are shifting towards selling hardware through infrastructure as a service, aka "the cloud"

Furthermore, these companies actually want you to pirate their software (Autodesk is ahead of the pack in offering free """educational""" software by just giving them any gmail) because they care about having a monopoly. If businesses pirate, then that's what lawyers and license audits are for.
