this is making me mad WHY CANT ANDROID MANUFACTURERS MAKE ANYTHING DECENT? I mean its something you use everyday, multiple times a day and they can't get anything that would last a decent amount of time.
all my friends switched to an iphone 5 years ago and they're still using theirs after a cracked screen replacement or battery replacement....
it was one of the shittier design foldables anyway, it was hot for like a second it premiered, and then it's just eugh comical outer screen bezel killed it, ugly notch inside too, fuck this thang But it is ironic that this happened, despite samsung having the gall to post a video about folding screen testing that had millions of views youtube.com/watch?v=McdgS3Popjk and now this happened, and some people fucking peeled the outer screen layer off lmao huawei mate x is the real deal anyway and we haven't heard about them breaking. doubt that they'd be silencing that stuff, it's a shittier literally who brand and it generally feels like it's okay to shit on youtube.com/watch?v=Xj0eR09MqPM
This will kill the foldable phone I have no doubt about it, the biggest complaint people have is that most if not every app is not designed for it and probably will not be updated unless the consumer base for it has some traction.

That Mate Video pretty much confirms what I thought- outside foldable screen > inside foldable screen with a tighter fold. This shouldn't have been hard to figure out, only downside that outside screen means it's always vulnerable.
>tighter fold so the breakages are a result of this design decision. it is pretty much impossible to keep a sheet from creasing when sides are laid flat, and when you try to keep a curve, it's a more complicated one. Fuck, Samsung must feel really stupid now.

why would someone want to have a phone like this? isn't a bit uncomfortable?
