If you want a taste of the OnePlus 7T's 10x camera, look no further than the one on the OnePlus 7 Pro. It's a hell of a phone, just lovely stuff mates.

That second half could've been a keyboard, but instead it's a big notification led.
t-thanks itoddlers

SAMSHILLS BTFO

>still no phone with a tiny/symmetrical chin
movies for this feel?

>That second half could've been a keyboard,
Just get a GEMINI.

Imagine being so OBSESSED, you blame apple for Samsung's failures.

I need a PIE ROM for my mido
I tried liOS and RR so far. liOS is unofficial and laggy, RR has a lot of tweaks I like but there's a bug in the screen staying on all time or some shit I can't figure out
I looked on xda and found a lot of ROMs. lookin for something not bloated and possibly stable I'm tired of this shit, do you have a suggestion?

Attached: Roma_dancers.jpg (1280x960, 382K)

I'm poo in loo vindaloo and I can confirm the OnePoolus 7 Pro will retail for 52,000 INR.

Shit, I meant 45,000 INR. That's about $750

$650, not & 750.

Cont'd from last theard.

My 5X broke and I'd like to upgrade -- purchasing advice please.
- Android phone
- For security, privacy, emails, internet, music
- Sub-5.5", >4GB RAM
- One that has a well-maintained STABLE custom ROM where normie features all work: calls, texts, roaming, SD card, compass, Bluetooth, NFC, camera, video, 4G
- No Chinese manufacturers please (I'm choosing the Western backdoors instead)
- Location is Ireland, with a possible US visit

Currently I'm looking to buy a Pixel and just hope to avoid the hardware issues. I tried going gsmarena and then checking xda but so far nothing stable.

Help me Jow Forums, you're my only hope.

>second half a keyboard
Retarded opinion.

friendly reminder not to buy a phone with any shit meme feature.
if you buy it, it will only encourage the manufacturers to stick with those memes and introduce new shitty memes too.

boycott the smartphone industry until they get back to sensible design. money is the only language they understand so don't give them any.

Hope Motorola One Power doesn't have a cucked screen.

I can't wait until it comes out.

What do you mean?
gsmarena.com/motorola_one_power_(p30_note)-9221.php

Doesn't exist. Maybe Pixel.

Welcome to the era of shitty huge chink phones.

yay, mindless consumerism.
>inb4 commy
No, retards that buy into dumb ideas exist because of government schooling.

***$650, not $750.

If you use a Pixel phone, congratulations, you're gay.

I want one of these so bad : (

Pixel Experience is surprisingly smooth on my Note 4. Currently using it as my daily driver.

You want a manly phone, you buy a Doogee.

My Doogee fresh

On google fi, trying to find a new phone.

Should i wait for the pixle 3 lite, S9+ or something else?

OP7

>Pixel Experience
isn't that full of google apps or something like that?
anyway if anyone was wondering the screen issue on RR was called "ambient display". the fucker was draining life out of my battery

>Pixel Experience
what in heaven's is that

Folding screens are the least meme feature in years. We'll have to wait and see if anyone actually makes it work though, not hopeful for Samsung at the moment.

>GEMINI
how small are those keys relative to a regular laptop keyboard?

Oneplus had so much soul in the past, I remember the original one had those bamboo back covers, the entire phone seemed impossible at that price.

>He fell for Mi 9
>He fell for P30
>He fell for S10
Will you return yours before this hits the shelves?

Attached: OnePlus-7-render_1_result.jpg (1200x675, 60K)

Well, yeah. It pretty much turns your device into a Pixel phone.
It's a no-no if you want to be outside the botnet, obviously. Very smooth, though.

This. I haven't bought a phone in about 6 years now. The fold is the only thing that has changed since then. Everything else is a gimmick for mobile gamers or retards who take pictures with their phones. A fordable screen is actually useful for someone who reads articles in pdf format.

Attached: advanced tech.gif (480x314, 2.47M)

That only works if you're their target audience, and chances are if you're smart enough to spell the world boycott without needing to look it up then you're not the target audience for smartphone designers. They will continue to make shitty phones despite your efforts to boycott them because other people will throw money at them for their shitty phone designs.

The only thing you can do is to encourage competition to produce phones with you in mind as their target audience, because convincing the unwashed masses that they shouldn't need four adapters to hook up their curved origami flip tablet isn't really a realistic goal.

tl;dr not buying their shit does jack shit to convince them to stop unless they see you buying someone else's shit

I want something with 99% screen, good battery, 6gb ram and no gimmicks

Thinking of getting Umidigi S3 pro or f1 play. Thoughts?

is the Razer Phone 2 a good phone?

>Razer
No.

>I want a 5.5" OnePlus phone with 4000mah battery and all the lovely features REEEEEEE

Whoever you are user youre a genuis.
One thing though. Make it a 21:9 5.5" 1080p display and a headphone jack. Why cant one plus just do this alreadyy:((

Supposedly the Rog Phone is much better in pretty much every regard.

>21:9
yikes, no

Its perfection sempai. And to top it off you could fit a 5.5" display into a xz1c. Its the fuuuture

>Its perfection sempai.
it's autism
> And to top it off you could fit a 5.5" display into a xz1c.
OR, fit 5'5" in a more square design which is less ugly and useless

I'm going to buy a pocophone
Try and stop me

99% screen IS a ginmick

>it's autism
It makes one handed use ez pz just go frys and take a look at the xperia 10 its great.
>OR, fit 5'5" in a more square design which is less ugly and useless
Which makes one handed comfy use difficult. Think of the handlets..

>I'm going to buy a pocophone

Attached: 1520929504705.png (250x418, 121K)

Wait for poco f2

this is the opposite of reality
the taller the screen the least comfortable it is for one handed use

Are the Xiaomi phones filled with much bloatware? I've been thinking about getting a Redmi Note 7.

Chinese ROM is packed with chink bloatware, global one has some basic Xiaomi apps (calculator, browser, music etc.) and some Google bloat. All of it can be disabled or removed without rooting, but you can also just go for a custom ROM.

Thanks. Do you know how the Redmi compares to the Mi8 Lite? The latter is 45 bucks cheaper, and that's nothing to scoff at as a piss-poor college student.

I heard rooting Xiaomi doesnt void warranty, is it true? Im thinking about replacing the Shittyui

Redmi Note 7? Just looking at the spec sheets of the both (I've yet to see either in person) I'd say they're pretty similar, but the main camera sensor and battery life should be better on the Redmi, the latter, in my opinion, making it worth the higher price. I don't know if the Mi8 Lite has NFC like the rest of the Mi8 line, having that could be important depending on your needs.

Redmi 7 also has a 3.5mm for what it's worth.

>already bought Mi 9
>This comes out
OHNNNNNNNNNONONONONONONO

>Trusting anything Lienovo says
youtube.com/watch?v=ZdWIXGH6bCs
What outrageous claims did they make this time?

Is MIUI (xiaomi.eu) a better OS than something like LineageOS?
I had a bad experience with EMUI on another phone and I don't want to repeat the same mistakes.

android is the same

okay the redmi camera sensor is slightly worse
but it's also thiccer, bezeller etc

depends if u need the above (aestehtics, basically and cpu)

I used to be in the "stock as possible" camp for years and xiaomi.eu changed my mind so now I prefer that + Nova launcher over Lineage and other roms of a similar style.
I can't say the same for stock MIUI, each time I had to use it, it would irritate me with something and at times felt rough around the edges, which I find odd when Xiaomi prides itself as being a software company. I do however commend their updates/fixes frequency and policy, considering the amount of models and their sub-versions they release each year.

Honestly a must have feature for me. I despise Apple for removing the headphone jack as a standard, almost as much as I hate the spineless Android manufacturers who copy everything Apple does.

mate 20 pro or s10?

S10

is there a better media player for android than vlc? listening to lectures and its seek function is inaccurate garbage. wish it had 15 second rewind at least

What is a cheap smartphone that has Android 9 Pie, runs fast and isn't bloated?

Mate 20 Pro

s10 for everything, except battery life

Best way to make a full backup?

podcast addict is perfect for that purpose

Titanium backup

Wrong. The wider the phone the more uncomfortable it is for one handed use. Thats why you can one hand a galaxy s8 5.8" easier than a oneplus 3t 5.5". Candy bar my dude.

It's true

Redmi Note 7

Why not twrp?

>and isn't bloated

How is this a requirement? Not even something you should worry about these days. Even phones without root can be debloated easily.

if the s10 is exynos version, is it still worth getting it?
if your phone have twrp, use "migrate". it backs up everything including permission and system.

>Wrong. The wider the phone the more uncomfortable it is for one handed use. Thats why you can one hand a galaxy s8 5.8" easier than a oneplus 3t 5.5". Candy bar my dude.
wrong and retarded
>thumb easily reatches horizonal edge
>thumb no easily reach vertical edge : (

fuck off

>s10 is exynos version, is it still worth getting it?
No

>if the s10 is exynos version, is it still worth getting it?
Nope

>fuck up applying screen protector because I'm retarded
>drop phone and scratch screen because i'm retarded
>put phone into same pocket as keys and further scratch it because, again, i'm retarded

why didn't they abort me when they had the chance

American on AT&T here. I'm a tradesman and a sucker for cool gimmicks.
I'm strongly considering buying the Cat S61. Mainly for the thermal camera and also for the general ruggedness.
Its $850 on amazon right now. Reviews are mixed and there are a few complaints about defective batteries. Other than those few complaints, it sounds like it works as advertised.

My tech instincts tell me buying a Cat-branded phone is probably a bad idea. But not having to carry my FLIR TG165 around with me for basic stuff would be really convenient and cool.
Somebody sanity check me, please. Am I an idiot for wanting to buy a memephone like this?

Attached: cat-s61.png (690x388, 343K)

What's a good game you guys are playing right now?

Recently got into Buriedbornes but it's a bit too hardcore for me.

Where is a good place to pick up an unlocked Note 9 online?

magikarp jump

pornhub

Looks nice, reminds me of Wizardry.
I'm playing some Langrisser. It looks kind of weeb-ish, but it's a fun SRPG of a series I haven't played since the Sega Genesis days.

Why make it so thick yet not even include a 3.5mm jack?

Attached: Energizer-P18K-Pop-hands-on.jpg (1600x800, 90K)

Anyone having issues on the S8 where contacts aren't showing on caller ID? Only numbers

Because they barely made an effort. the only up-side of this phone is the battery. they made the most generically bad smartphone in history and crammed a gigantic battery on it to give it any appeal whatsoever.

Almost 8 years with a smartphone and I still can't into touch controls gaming. Must be nice.

Because its literally a slim chinkphone that they taped a powerbrick to.

I'm thinking of buying a chinkshit phone and getting straight talk from wal mart because I dont really use my phone for much other than messaging and light internet browsing.

I was considering this a few years ago but got confused with all the restrictions between networks and bands or whatever. I have a friend who bought a chinkshit phone and tried to do this but it was only able to use 3G for some reason

How do I make sure this doesnt happen to me and what do I need to check? Also any phone recommendations?

Attached: 1555038407522.gif (403x369, 167K)

Mi8 and mix 2s have all the burger bands
Good choice if you are poorfag

Looking for a new phone
>US
>Verizon (I'm on straight talk, but as long as it's LTE compatible with a microSIM I'll be okay, just wanna swap my current SIM over)
>5.0" screen, no larger
>Removable battery
>3GB RAM preferred but I'll settle for 2 if I have to
>$200-300 USD Budget
Most things I'm willing to live without but the small size and removable battery are non-negotiable. I'm tired of needing a new phone every other year just because the one I have won't hold a charge.

These days all of the big brands can pretty much be trusted to be fully functional on all Western networks: ASUS, Huawei, OnePlus, even Xiaomi. Stay away from the pure chinkphones like Lenovo, Vivo, Nokia, etc.

Especially well established brands like ASUS can be expected to deliver very high quality products, but you could also easily look up what bands they support beforehand. I owned Lenovo Zuk Z2 which was supposed to be fully functional on the 4G bands in my country but barely worked half the time, shit was laggy and buggy as fuck.

You gotta go back to 2014 if you want a phone with those specs.

LG V20 is all of those things except the screen size, it's about $100 on ebay
