Kek!
I just use a flip phone.
I've noticed that 7zip is windows only, what's the 7-zip alternative for Linux?
This really hurts because I don't think "shell integration" is a thing that exists in Linux, so you will never ever be able to add a "Extract to" button in the context menu when right-clicking a zip archive.
p7zip

That option literally comes by default in almost any gnu install. You can use the zip and unzip commands, or utilities like ark and file roller
reminder that 7zip can't open an encrypted .rar files.
not him, but is there something that has an intuitive UI on linux like 7zip does on windows
i like how on windows 7zip's GUI it gives you options for encryption and password in the same dialog that has the encryption path, its just so simple and easy, instead of making a tomb in command line or some stupid shit like that.
what is an open source program that can? just in case i run into one someday and dont install a proprietary program to open it. thank you.
You might like PeaZip
zip and unrar (unrar-free for Debian)
Arch: archlinux.org

Debian:
packages.debian.org
packages.debian.org
winrar is good enough you paranoid freak
if you are so concerned, just disconnect from the Internet when you're using it.
You willingly and purposely sit down and get on Jow Forums instead of half-assedly shitposting on the go.
>use duckduckgo
>your data gets sold to amazon
welcome back to the botnet
All mobile phones are spying devices. Do not use any of them.
Are you on Wangblows? If so, don't worry about installing proprietary shit.
I've had a relatively trusted program hold my files ransom before because it wanted me to buy a license
CCleaner has had viruses included in updates before
Project64 has had bundleware in the past
Adobe Flash borders on giving you bundleware (McAfee and Chrome) when you update it manually)
>dude just turn off your internet when you use it
implying i would never be in a situation where i am downloading something or listening to music online and need to use a program. also that is akin to saying that ransomware is justified because you can just re-image your computer instead of paying ransom of your files. that's not the point. turning off your internet or running the risk of having to re-image a drive to use a software is inconvenient.
there's more reason to choose open source than >muh privacy
and I'm not a complete freefag either. there are some great proprietary programs out there, like foobar2000 and classic shell and mp3tag. and there's some you have to live with due to standards but are decent like steam, photoshop and microsoft office (pre-2013). fuck off nothingToHidefag
Based
I'm a hihgly inteligent femanon, so I only use 7 zip! (;
Use startpage for your search engine user, duckduckgo is botnet too
>that image
>downloading an additional program for something your OS supports natively
>big brained
absolutely retarded
xarchiver
The semi-official port is p7zip. You can also use xz though, if you want LZMA compression.
>this distracts the goyim
duckduckgo doesn't track you
startpage uses google searches only, enjoy your censored web
>not archive.tar.gz.gpg
this
spacing
wtf
the ads are getting smarter, user... don't fight it, just click the nice titles and forget all about anything productive you were about to do...
What do you guys use for max. compression with p7zip?
this but unironically
Boomer tier meme
google shows news results on its home page? maybe it knows im hostile enough to their botnet and manipulation to not try that shit on me
Does Windows support 7z, RAR, gz, or xz compression natively?
What is greentexting?
Worse. It's facebook tier
>no recovery records
>absolutely horrible extraction performance
>better than WinRAR
absolute state of freetards
If anyone is wondering just disable these three.
