Even Acer has Murata/Sony battery

Acer literally uses the cheapest battery possible, yet better than Apple batteries.
They often tape 18650 batteries together with the controller even in expensive models.

Its cheap to replace them though you just buy 4 of them and that is it so i will give them that.

>aPpLe KeYbOaRd BaD
from what I know their old laptop keyboards were some of the best, mostly due to there being practically no flex in it at all because the thing was made out of a solid chunk of aluminium

>Acer literally uses the cheapest battery possible, yet better than Apple batteries.
Strangely enough, they didn't selected cheapest Shenzhen Trash Industries Co. Ltd. like Apple.
I have like three Acers, all of them had either Sanyo, Samsung or Sony cells. Which is weird, honestly.
>They often tape 18650 batteries together with the controller even in expensive models.
It is fine. This one has non-replaceable ™ Li-po battery, which claims to be Murata/Sony.
>Its cheap to replace them though you just buy 4 of them and that is it so i will give them that.
Indeed. And battery controllers are easy to reset.

There were no flex, sure, but layout is shit (no, really, where are mine PgUp PgDn) and switches are mushy.
New Apple keyboards (those butterfly) are complete garbage. I can't imagine being fine 1 mm travel.

Yikes!

I'm still waiting for LG panel to arrive.

O.O

Then why does he need more backups of the ThinkPads?

Those are all different versions.

>buying Acer
literally never do this

Cringe.

I'll just leave this here.

I have done it at least three times. Had zero problems with them.
First one was Celeron M laptop. Second - AMD Phenom II (PackardBell). Third - this.
All of them are build to price, with right sacrifices, not Apple tier "silence>cooling"
All laptops are pretty similar.
Actually this. Even fucking Acer uses brand name cells.
Whatever dude.

No, the user was fucking around with the voltage regulators when they opened it and took a picture

I'm comforted by this answer.

yes , it's a feature.
> no, you're using it wrong

needs more glue

Judging by the model number, this is a 6 year old Macbook Pro.
Anyone seriously expect batteries to be perfect after 6 years?

oh no no no

Stockholme syndrome

My 7 year old thinkpad battery still has 3.5 hours of battery life. There is no excuses.

>Designed in California

>3 hour battery life can be fixed with power bank

My 10 year old Li-Ion cells are fine.

Lenovo is honestly not much better at this point. I don't want to sound like a screeching classicfag but what they've done over the years pisses me the fuck off.
First they fuck the keyboard.
Then they fuck the trackpad (fixed in xx50 series and later).
Then there's superfish
Now the newer models have soldered RAM and the xx90 series doesn't even have a field replaceable keyboard.
I believe the X1E even requires a fucking dongle so you can plug in a "wifi cable".

every notebook is slowly turning into macbooks. That's the sad truth.

I can't read what it says on that shitty TN ThinkPad screen.
