I use an adblocker because every single ad out there is malware infested trash and blocking them is like the first step you can take to protecting your computer.
I've used a browser without one when I was helping my parents with some stuff and good fucking good. Going to the sites they visit (primarily news sites) is fucking nuts. Auto playing videos, boner pill ads, insurance ads, all animated and when hovered over have some random URL that looks in no way linked to the image shown
I hate it. The modern web is fucking cancer unless you block 90% of it.
