Just know that the soft pads will start to melt away into some sticky stuff after some years (4 or more probably), otherwise it had been adequate while my mother was using it
As for switching to a dumbphone, that's really up to you user.

hold onto your smartphone, don’t just throw it in the garbage.

When my dumbphone arrives I plan on swapping my SIM between the two as needed, but mostly using the dumbphone.

I'm willing to bet that you get tired of switching and end up using the smartphone in two weeks.
