shitposting aside, Linux Mint is the distro that better worked out of the box for me.
My only complaints are about certain Brother printer drivers not working at first try and some drawing tablet's drivers crashing XOrg, but I quickly fixed both problems.

debian works like a charm for me
>can go from minimal to fully functioning workspace in 1 apt command
>xorg and kernel modules mostly auto configured
>sid is rolling release with new enough packages
>updates never broke, even with sid
overall, the only 2 points making it my preferred choice are apt and rolling relesse
stuff like the looks and getting programs in general is the same on every distro, and so is potential size and speed
well, except totally fucked up distros like azure versions, google versions or that redstar os distro

I've been using debian for a few months now and I'm in love with it. One of the best distros I've used cause the memes true it just werks and I added xfce and its amazing with ram usage I only have 4gb and It takes a ton to even get half of that. Amazing for my school work and everything I have to do.
