Awe, the little buggie-wuggie triggered? There there, sweety.

I don't want to be spied on through a hmdi cable no thanks

>VGA has no backdoors
Sure!

if anything, it's easier to be spied on through vga since you can splice the cable, add your own reader in the middle, and no one will notice
wtf is a cable connector backdoor? a backdoor is different from a weakness in security

I like the look of analog video, it has more personality.

I love it

That's what screws are for dummy

Compatible with everything. Even new monitors often come with a VGA port. Not to mention all that TVs and projectors.
I was actually really bummed new graphics cards don't have a VGA port anymore. Had to go with a card with 2 HDMI ports just to keep my connectibility. I wish more devices would use based DP but that's probably not going to happen.

FUCK

Exactly this. I'm not seeing the problem.

>I wish more devices would use based DP but that's probably not going to happen.
I don't get it either, HDMI is proprietary yet manufacturers prefer to pay royalties than to ship with a superior royalty-free port.
They could even save money with it.

i do most of my work on a $30 laptop with a pirated copy of solidworks

Not exactly sure about the specs of these ones, but everything else is totally fine.

bearly happens for me. And I don't even use the screws

Analog is easier to attack via tempest. Blessed retard.

Uhh user, you do know what a Bugman is right?

Same. But for hobby though. Sw2012 masterrace.

just upgraded to a 2080 and of course rip no vga port. dont need it with new setup anyway but its sad to see it go.

used to abuse these on a sli setup back a few years haha

some devices don't have the holes though

I just bought one the other day. $19.99 down the drain.

DVI vs VGA, which is the chad port?

>DVI vs VGA
not even a competition, DVI by far. DVI doesn't even care if you want analog or digital, it's fine with either.

can't use them on recent generation GPUs though.
