The Vaio Duo is probably the only remotely modern machine with this form factor.

Why's that shitty thinkpad tablet 2 get a pass but the TC1100 doesn't?

stfu you dumb nigger
OQO's were the best thing ever made, especially in comparison to the shit generic UMPCs of today (look GPD Pocket etc).

It doesn't have to be easel-style to have small keyboard bezels.

Remember that kickass teaser video for the original OQO? "It's the only computer you need".

It's still a sexy design tho

Never seen it actually. Just wish they didnt go under before UMPCs became popular again.

this is turning me on.

Is there a 2-in-1 at this size but with the keyboard attached? I'm looking to get a smaller 2-in-1 after getting a huge 15-inch one last year but I'd like to find something smaller.... The only thing that piqued my interest is the Surface Go so far but that keyboard is also detached, does anyone know my options? .

im getting one of these, not the sexiest but the best and most practical you can get. Just like my future wife.

friend of mine has one. Seems surprisingly robust. Seems worth getting

What screen size and CPU power you looking for? There are an assload of options out there if you're willing to settle for a Cherry Trail CPU.

didnt they made a modern version of this with a galaxy tab

I have one of those, but it's missing the fucking proprietary Sonygger ram. I might just gut it and put an RPI on it.

IDK whatever is suitable for editing texts and occasionally watching youtube and browsing the web, and maybe some light photoshop editing also.

You've got a lot of options. If you're willing to use chinkshit, any of the Chuwi 2-in1s will suit you like the HiBook Pro or Hi10. If not, the Asus T100ha is a competent performer. There are an assload of lower end chinkshit tablets from Onda, Teclast, etc on sites like aliexpress and gearbest if you're hard up for cash.

How would you interface the LCD and input devices to the pi though?

Chop off everything below the mouse keys and I'd buy one tomorrow.

exquisite taste user.
>ywn have an X61s

These little QT3.14s. Used to own a Fujitsu U820 for a while until it died on me. It was horribly slow and was three USB ports short, but damn I miss it every day. I want the old format with newer hardware, but that's a pipe dream.

But then the top half of the screen would be exposed when closed

Android is a great option though. Install the following set of apps and you have a usable Linux machine.
>Firefox
>Ghost Commander
>Ghost Commander SFTP plugin
>Termux
>Termux:Styling
>Termux:API
>Clover Dev
>mpv (apks on github)
>Simple Gallery
>OpenCamera
>K-9 Mail
>Transdroid
>Radiodroid
>ebook reader app of your choice
>MuPDF
>Android CUPS Print

Isn't Android on tablets a ded? And what happened to the Pixel Slate?

A modern tablet with a trackpoint??? I want that.

Not a trackpoint. It's one of those shitty optical points that make you slide your finger across the tip of it.
