He's been showing up again recently. You might get lucky on the /hsg/. He said he's working on reviving his old clusters and stuff in his spare time.
I see him from time to time on threads but much less than a few years ago. He probably lurks anonymously these days.
He still posts with his name and trip too though.
Imagine the smell tho
Yeah I think he said he posts without a trip these days mostly, he has a pretty specific posting style though so it's easy to recognise posts that might be his.
Check /hsg/ though, it's probably where he posts most frequently.
why do people commit to sitting like this for such a long period of time? is a chair truly too difficult to set up?
Dis nigga needs to lower the brightness of his monitors.
he has based umineko paintings
the sysadmin?
I'm still around :)
Best guy, I am glad you are around. I'm honestly leaving this site if you ever stop posting.
what do you do for a living?
How the hell can you afford to run so many servers at home?
Because I've been wanting to do this for years now.
Are you the same butterfly poster on /lit/ as well?
you stopped using discord? we don't see you anymore on /hsg/'s discord :(
>not using matrix-synapse
dumb baka
great man!
daaaamn based
drugs come in waste goes out it's that simple
half unemployed, half freelance graphic designer and a lot of volunteer work with mental health and conservation organisations.
Got a nice book contract coming up soon so might actually have some cash to spare.
don't drink, dont smoke, dont socialise much, dont do drugs - got to get my fun somehow. I only tend to use stuff with low power - whole rack is ~250W when loaded.
no, don't think so.
I'll fire it up again when i get a chance, it was a bit distracting at the time.
nice hope you're doing good
how long have you been floor sitting and did you have to adapt to it?
~20years, not really.
did you come to the Revision this year?
no idea what that is, so probably not!
cool - naw, way too far for me.
too bad, it was really fun!

This is off-topic as hell, but do you have any tips for properly doing the lotus sit? I can only do indian style and when I meditate I have to focus on having a straight back which can be rather distracting.
dont be afraid to shove a pillow under your ass :)
the way I was taught was to treat it as an engineering problem. you've three points of contact with the ground, ass and both knees - your aim is that all your body weight is transmitted down to those three points while doing no work against gravity.
rather than keeping your back straight, try this - sit full lotus, close your eyes, swing your upper body round in a few circles then let it naturally fall back into the centre - back may not be straight but your upper central of mass will naturally centre over your lower then rest your wrists just in front of your knees.
as always, ymmv.
>graphic designer
I thought you were a super hacker elite sysadmin. Why aren't you using your tech skills to make money? is graphic design a well payed profession? Not criticizing but curious, I have a little knowledge about computers but I am not sure if I have to pursue a tech related career/job just because I am "good" (I am not that good).
to me they're both just things for fun, if I make money along they way, all the better. Tech stuff I cave certs and learned alot, but no real experience. Freelance design is more laid back in a way, I've absolutly no qualifications but I'm good enough to get paid and I can pull out a portfolio of commercial work I've done as needed.
Pay is great when I get work - £35/hr is going rate but I'll work for anything (I do a lot of stuff for volunteer/3rd sector so they just pay what they can afford) or just a straight up quote - £50 for flyer or business card etc.
Job coming up is a guy that wants his fathers memoirs in a printed book, will be £1k+ which is a good bit bellow commercial rates given the size/time.
besides, its a great feeling going outside and seeing my work in a shop window, on the side of a van or someone reading a book I did.
Thanks, I guess I need an open mind about the jobs that can be done at home or remotely.
doing something you enjoy really helps - hell I make £50-100/month selling Jow Forums and /a/ related stuff on redbubble etc.
Not huge, but pays for my adobe sub every month.
yeah, I like computers and software but I don't see myself working as a developer or sysadmin.
i'm in a same case. I want to develop video games on my own for myself, but i don't want to sell my skills to a big company even if this pay well.
Yes i'm dumb, but i can't accept getting someone yelling at me every day.
being a neet is hard...
that's nice you can show your work at the end. Your life sound hard but also gratifying
>being a neet is hard...
yep, it's hard until the money stops and then it becomes a fucking hell.
that's a proper beard
