It would be really really hard, you would have to go on eBay and by one, it would take seconds and seconds

Imagine being this retarded

Useful, but not as comfy

a W700/1ds? Not really hard but they're not exactly cheap.
There's like 2 anons I know for a fact have one but no idea how often they frequent /tpg/ and the current one is a pretty big shitfest as happens when someone posts a picture of trapcode.
Might be worth checking it out still I guess

It doesn't have the digitizer.

I thought about doing this, but with a proper slide out screen instead of a stapled on one.

Disgusting

i've recently changed it so the screen folds out from around the back which seems to work pretty well without having to modify the device too much.

you can't just say that without providing pics

whats the doodad on the left side?

Use used some zip ties to allow it to move
i think you mean the cooling fans

what about some D shaped metal rings to hold it instead of twist ties?

>wing nuts facing down
>not having screws least flush enough that you can still close the cover
>if the screws dont go through the entire top, could just have flat wingnuts

i was thinking about using some metal rings but didnt have any hanging around at the time, zip ties seem to work well enough

i've fixed it now, i can now actually close the screen properly

No he meant doodad.

How much up/down play is there? Could just have two flat hinges.

Should have a mag cover on it. That like flops over. So when in use you just flip it over the top(like paper on an easel). Then when the tops closed you could just flip the cover to protect it

lol does it really need external fans? What are you doing to make your thinkpad so hot, just get a better system at that point.

yeah, i need to find some way to protect the screen when its flipped onto the back.
the fans dont really do much and i dont really need them, i just wanted to see if they would actually reduce the temps

it's not that obtrusive if he did his wiring properly, so why not.

Though it's not an old Core2Duo so I can't imagine it getting that toasty.

>old t61 with the 1400x1050 screen
>gets so fucking hot the glue eventually fails and the screen all bubbles over

what's the purpose of this?
