Which color looks the best guys? For me I think it's the gold or silver.

samefag

I currently have Fractal Design Define R4 and I like it because it has a more or less neutral design and above all - it's quiet due to all that foam. However, I will get a new pc soon enough and would want a new, smaller case with similar traits as R4. Any suggestions?

So what's your favorite color from the 7?

make your own decision faggot

Anyone have any mATX case recommendations? I think thats what I want to do for my next build.

lazer3d.com/product/ht5/

No, I want to know which color YOU find the best. I personally think the gold is the best :3

this thread sucks

>:3
Leave.
White btw.

I got myself a $20 chink mATX case. It works fine but I can't find the 240mm rad mount kit anywhere for sale.

OMG, IT'S A LION, GET IN THE CAR

Old beige cases > all this useless modern shit. No one is going to look at your fucking PC case anyway.

Domo arigato mr roboto

One of the newer Defines?

>tfw you want to get a Meshify C but you have a NH-D15 and no low profile ram

Still using the NZXT H440 but I have yet to find anything that would tempt me away from it yet.

Black since i used to have that one and the metis.

Best MiniITX case that doesn't cost a fuckton?

>No one is going to look at your fucking PC case anyway
>source; nerd with a shit looking case kept under his desk
Visitors always comment on my case.

Modular case is the best.

i got the matx version of this, good shit.

yes, i have case. you can put hardware into it. i recommend to have case.

have sex.

you already posted the GOAT case of the decade for people who actually like some tempered glass side panels and top tier cable management capability

I hate that most gaming cases these days eliminated the side panel fan. It makes a big difference on GPU temperatures which also affects GPU boost clocks.

Rate mine.

>Silent Edition
as long as this is true theres nothing else to talk about. PC cases are a subjective matter, no need to shitpost about them unless it's a r*ddit RGB eye cancer build for fortnite

Attached: crazy thai PC.webm (1280x720, 1012K)

I like noise dampening cases. HateRGB and tempered glass though. And no cases these days seem to include 5.25 drive bays.

I'm going to be building a new pc later this year and I was thinking of going with the Fractal Design s2. Does anyone have any experience with that case?

For me it's Corsair Obsidian 450D

But why do they need to be $200+ ?
Seriously, why won't a big case manufacturer make premium tiny mATX/mITX cases at 100-150 ? Don't they want money ?

The tooling required to make cases with different layouts is extremely expensive and bigger companies only ever make the safest investments. Thermaltake's copies of Caselabs designs for example sold poorly and cost an outrageous lot, so nobody wants to do that again.

>Thermaltake's copies of Caselabs designs

Can you link it? I wasn't aware they made copies.

my dude

One of the better mini-itx cases imo
Space for big graphics cards and plenty of harddrives while still being pretty small
Only thing i dislike is the small space for a cpu cooling

Attached: 11-119-286-02.jpg (640x480, 47K)

Got one of these absolute units lying around, any idea what to do with it? The case is sturdy as fuck and the design is one the good ones from Applel

Attached: mac-pro-2009-open.jpg (500x600, 64K)

Buy whatever is the cheapest and is large enough to house your components. This isn't something to waste money on.

Shit taste

Best case in whole thread.

I have, but the R6, came from an FD Arc Midi R2. Easier to mount 2.5 drives behind the tray, but the shroud makes it harder to install PSU's. Difference in noise was way less than I antecipated, drowned some hdd noise, but had to crank the fans a bit higher to make up for the less airflow.
Make no mistake though, if you're getting a new case and not upgrading one, very little can beat these Defines. But in my case, if I could do it again I would save my money instead, as it was a very small upgrade over my Arc.

I would have expected more love for the NZXT H series

Just too much "design" over function

i have the h400i
pretty big for a maxt case but the fucker's top tier

I have a NZXT switch 810 from like 2013 but there are parts of the case that have began rattling and buzzing after these years

How is the quality of the new range?

>Let's fill half of our sff cases up with a psu shroud, that'll be great for airflow
>Let's put an AIO on the gpu and use it as an intake
I just want an atx box with 2 240 radiator mounts that don't fight each other for airflow and still let's me mount 2-3 3/5" drives and a pump. Nothing blocking airflow besides filtered intakes. A smaller O11 Dynamic.

why do all cood looking cases always have the NEET window?

Attached: nzxt-s340-white-gaming-case-1000px-v2-0002.jpg (1000x1000, 63K)

worst design from applw and flimsy as fuk
kys

SilentiumPC Regnum 1 has been serving me well, amazing shit case for 20€. Sometimes gets weird humming vibrations that can be thwarted off for 2 months with random placement of tape.

Just popping by to say fuck fractal cases

I hate that power button, it looks like a tacky afterthought.
Wish they'd made it same color and flush with the case like the M1.

This, so much this

Best non stupidly priced modern case is the aerocool cylon

images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61TMy3jyG5L._AC_SL1500_.jpg

That IO placement and design is fucking retarded, so much useless stuff.

- top oriented ports so they can fill with crap over time
- solid block of plastics front - who needs airflow these days
- glass side
- an rgb stripe

The disk activity light on my Fractal Design is absolutely blinding.

geeekcase a50
now with better side panels

Fractal Design. I have an R5 blackout for my server, and an R6 blackout for my main build. No window of course. Combine these with Be Quiet! stuff and it's an amazing setup.

is it actually silent? I've been thinking about this case for my next build

A creation made by only the most primal of men!...

Need a new case. Currently in a Define R5, but it isn't large enough.

Does anyone have experience with the Dark Base Pro 900 rev. 2, or have alternate recommendations? I need at least two 5.25" bays, space for two self-contained 120mm rads, filters on at least the front and bottom, and at a minimum 8 expansion slots, preferably with two off to the side. I despise windows in to my case because it is crowded and there won't be room.

The case is alu right?.
Make it a showpiece with flowers and wines emerging out of it.
Won't ruin the case if you later on decide to use it.

how is the Define R5 not big enough? What are you trying to house?

these are so fucking stupid it hurts. Guaranteed they're $200+ to boot.

If there's a path for air in, there's a path for noise out.

1950X, two Fiji Pro Duos, a P2000, and I'd like room for a VII at some point in the eventual future.

Attached: 6147DENiS2L._SX425_.jpg (425x425, 14K)

why do you have so many video cards? At this point just get a 4U server case or something.

Deals and fun, the Pro Duos were obscene deals in one of the crypto crashes, and the P2000 was/is for work. I thought about a server case, but I'd like to stick to something that can stand on its own, and not require a rack.

most minimalist case?

pleb

any of you faggots know a good airflow MATX pc case that doesn't have fucking tempered glass? I don't like tempered glass cases because i'm worried about breaking them and don't give a single shit about acrylic panels.

every single airflow case i look for has tempered glass and i just want something that doesn't have that shit,

Lian Li makes the most mediocre cases. i can't say if they're bad or good.

tempered glass is pretty damn tough
