September is reasonable, considering a summer announce - at least for Navi. I don't care much about Rome.

Good for back-to-school shopping season and then the holidays.

>3rd quarter
so, in july as everybody has been saying for months now?
i fail to see what your post is whining about

Fuck off Yotsugi

forums.anandtech.com/members/yotsugi.401262/

neither does OP, who sources confirm suck dick on a regular basis. 7/7/19 is more than likely

>zen 2 launches after Rome
>rome launches in Q3 2019

Fuck, now the AMD 50 anniversary Zen+ processors make sense....

Attached: 1551684955678.gif (600x600, 19K)

Should I buy the 50th gen or wait for Zen+?

>Su also revealed that Navi is geared for "below where the Radeon 7 is positioned from a pricing standpoint."

POOVI CONFIRMED FOR AYYMD HOUSEFIRES PERFORMANCE FLOP AGAIN LIKE POOLARIS

>[–][email protected] | RX 580 Nitro + [score hidden] 16 minutes ago*

>From the AMD Q1 call; Lisa said zen 2 will launch Q2, and Navi will launch Q3. Navi will be below >Vega 7 in terms of pricing (although she didn't explicitly say performance will be lower)

Is this what mental illness looks like?

So is Zen2 Q2 or Q3?

known since 2017, maybe earlier, little cocksucking shill

looks like AMD is going for the whole package, maybe even CPU+GPU combo for cheap, to annihilate the non-existent competition.

twitter.com/spec_v2

FUCK OFF SPEC 2, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR AYYMD BIAS FAGGOTRY

This makes sense as recently consoles like PS5 will need to cut down on price but want good hybrid performance. This is most likely going for PS5.

Q3 is like July to September though

>mfw made $5000 today while the resident intel shill seeths for less than minimum wage on Jow Forums to no one

reeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I wanted a new gaymen pc for the summer

I suppose AMD still wants their partners to dump all the older Zen GPU with some large fire sales.

sirs delid dis

I'm happy for you, user!

rome has been sampling since literally december of last year

navi won't make them much money anyways

zen 2 comes out in a month and will be their second biggest cash insurge this year.

>implying actual arguments are necesary for a CPU shill thread

2700X has 79fps in this graph. 79 plus 15% is 90.85fps. keep waiting poorfags lol.

With a proper AVX2 implementation it'll probably match the 9900K.

>stock ryzen
lmao I know you have to pay an extra $200 for the privilege of OCing but not everyone does

>2700X has 79fps in this graph. 79 plus 15% is 90.85fps.
That's not how it works and i'm not poor

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. 2600x OC to 4.2 getting 103.6FPS That plus 15% equals 119.14fps. You're getting there!

ooooH NO-NO-

rome is zen 2 you're thinking about the Ryzen 3000 series (tm)

>gaming
Fuck off to /v/, manchild.

That's... not how it works.

>performance doesn't matter

Imagine waiting on inferior hardware.

no, September is late for back to school, and especially late for a hs graduation present

Performance does matter
Just not gaming performance, because games don't matter

>hurr I'll use benchmarks which take advantage of features which are going to be on Zen 2
Based retard poster.

But the new cpu are 4.5 minimum.

X570 boards release in june and zen2 CPUs in September. Buy a 9900k if you cant wait.

ye shills gonna shill.

>i dont buy new hardware for games, i just need it because it helps me shitpost on Jow Forums and watch anime, I swear!

why do people make stupid threads like that since we know that lisa said q2 already?

>Buy a 9900k if you cant wait.

Pascal is 4 years old and AMD still has no answer to a 1080ti or anything that isn't mid-range.

Implying they'll even come close to Intel in AVX with Zen 2.

>plus 15%
You're forgetting about the clock increase, nigga.
Or do you think 7nm will have the same clocks as Zen+?

It keeps getting pushed back. Must have major issues

newest PS5 leak says
>3.2Ghz Zen2 CPU
>56 CU Navi GPU 12.9TFLOPs at 1800Mhz (most likely Boost)
>20GB VRAM GDDR6
in a 150W package for the console. assuming CPU run around 20-30W and GPU 120-130W for this performance.

lets take a look at Vega 56 (on 14nm)
>56 CU 10.5TFLOPS at 1470Mhz (Boost)
>8GB HBMeme2
>210W

doesn't sound too bad, right? older leaks/rumours said PS5 will have 14.4TFLOPS but that just might be more powerful dev kits, not final product

Attached: 1554632459548.png (500x654, 746K)

fuck AMD< god damn piece of shit, i bought a Dell with a ryzen 7 last year and the fucking thing would crash daily, and it did not matter if i had windows or linux on it, the fucking thing would lock up hard every fucking day, changed harddrives, changed ram, did not make a difference, i finally trashed a 1000 dollar PC because of AMD's shitty CPUs, bought a refurbished Dell optiplex with a intel core i5 and has not crashed once,

>writing down all that crap no one will ever believe
what a sad life for a shill

Attached: 1528452813082.jpg (600x400, 21K)

what do we even know about the silicon used from the chinks?
they claimed 15% IPC improvement over Ryzen 2xxx series, right? 4.5Ghz all core? some techtuber said it was a 4c but i didn't see any confirmation for that. also powerdraw or TDP rating wasn't provided

>Intelaviv shill can't tell the difference between Zen2, Epyc Rome and Ryzen 3000
lol, fucking retards
naples also released much later than Ryzen 1000

If nothing Navi isn't announced by E3 I'm just gonna get an R5 2600 and RTX 2060. Fuck AMD for taking so long.

OH NO NO NO NO NO

The 15% is probably just in cinebench. I wouldn't be surprised if Zen 2 is even worse at games considering it has even more latency because of the IO die

L3$ is doubled, games shouldn't suffer too badly

>he doesn't frequently write and compile software

Everything has to go through the IO die, Infinity fapric still linked to memory speed. Memory controller not improved according to mobo manufacturers.
I wouldn't be hopeful.

telegraph.co.uk/technology/2019/04/26/intel-shares-fall-10pc-worst-day-chipmaker-since-financial-crisis/

>Shares in the company fell by more than 10pc, putting it on track for its worst day since the 2008 financial crisis.

the infinity fabric speed has at least doubled, and there's no reason the memory controller wouldn't have improved given it's an in house design specialized for their processors rather than an off the shelf design.

Embarrassing.

>the infinity fabric speed has at least doubled
went from ~10GB/s to ~25.4GB/s

Q3 starts in July you spastic fuck.

this board is 18+

yeah and I'm speaking from experience you dumb nigger
I didn't wait until uni had already started before buying a new laptop

What did you used to have and why tho? If it had shit for virtualization I would have bought it day 0, but aside from it being a limited version, it doesn't have great value at all.

Imbecil

>what did you used to have
Still have a 1660ti, but had sold my vega 64 in anticipation for this.
>why
1440p and because I like the tuning on radeon cards
>value
It was the same price as the other R7s and included the shirt, box, etc. I could have maybe got like a used 1080ti or a 2080, but I wanted this card for a while just because I prefer the looks and already have the PSU for it. It will go in a zen2 build when that launches and the 2700x will get the 1660ti again. Will sell the games most likely and it will end up being a $600~650 R7, which I think is good considering there aren't many so you can't really pick them up for cheap used.

Ty

Oh and I also plan on ordering the 2700x and gigabyte board to go along with this on the weekend so long as they still have them.
