is it stupid of me to read things like "you don't know js" books in my free time?

or should i just read general entertainment books in free time?

i'm pretty fit, have a gf, a job sort of, i'm on the right track, don't see what else i should do in my free time

>is it stupid of me to learn more about something I already know something about

You need to be reading technical books and learning skills, living in fantasy land isn't going to help at all.

>T. faggot who adds nothing to the conversation

Thats a good point, don't work in the field in a technical way anymore so my books for learning have a different focus.
These are what I read for fun...

is it normal for technical books to be a grind at times? for example if it's new stuff and a field you don't have a lot of experience in.

Yes

yes, very normal in any field.
Don't expect to understand it all on first reading.

All books that are philosophy, style, history are subjective fluff and suck. The only thing that helps are books about language features, algorithms and math,

Good book.

The type of people that need to read this book are the type of people that don't read.

Managers if a brainlet hasn't read it

A good book, but I was super disappointed about non-technical that book is. It's more about manufacturing and business than anything else.

What do you know, it's also literally free
