If they're not automated, they're just copypasta.
The coupon is applied to the whole order, but in order to be fair, the % of discount is applied on an item by item basis. Thus, if you use a coupon on 2 items, should you get a refund on one of them, you'll get the amount - x% of the coupon, thus your other order will still have the "discount".

i have one, different case tho. it was like less than $2 iirc. bits are pot metal, cant even be case hardened. t6 is rather small but if the screw is not extremely tight it should work just fine without bending the bit
