Why hasn't the price of audiophile equipments dropped at all?
Landon Jones
Benjamin Howard
Because audiophiles are willing to pay it.
Gabriel Sullivan
that's what 'tismos are willing to spend, therefore that's where they set the prices.
Chase Miller
>Why hasn't the price of audiophile equipments dropped at all?
It has. If you mean that subwoofer, there are alternatives with similar performance for a bit less.
Chase Barnes
>monoprice
>audiophile
good troll
Wyatt Watson
The prices are what make them "audiophile equipment", there's nothing else that sets it apart from the regular stuff, it's like $600 sushi.
Now buy it baka gaijin.
Kevin Wright
I had some 1kw audiotechna subwoofer, and two 400 watt monitors.
I had to go outside in the yard 200' away to turn it up all the way. Best money I spent on audio equipment ever.
Completely worthless though unless you just want to go deaf or like having your balls vibrate at 10khz.
Camden Campbell
The market's there, with the price of the items and the demand that's there they won't be flying off the shelf either.
Jackson Clark
Because "audiophile" equipment is always above normie-tier.
Because of audiophiles our hardware is getting better and better.
For every iteration of quality hardware gets the xxxphile version of said hardware will also go one step up.
So last decade's audiophile sound is todays normie sound, the future versions normie sound is today's audiophile stuff.
You either pay to be in the forefront of pioneering quality or you're too poor or simply don't want to pay the premium to be first.
Since this is Jow Forums I'm gonna use a more suitable term for you.
Wait for 50% OFF S̶t̶e̶a̶m̶ Sale if you don't wanna pay full price.
Jason Johnson
just buy a used velodyne on ebay for like $100 jesus man
Camden Murphy
>Because "audiophile" equipment is always above normie-tier.
HAH AH AHAH AH AH AH HAA
John Wilson
Laughing in poor.
Sorry, I don't speak that language.
Angel Myers
>subwoofer
>audiophile equipment
Pick one and only one
This is home theater shit and desu it might actually be worth the $700 is the power rating is legitimate
Jaxson James
It has. In the 70s, hifi equipment like you can purchase today would have been hundreds of thousands of dollars
The MODERN audiophile market works like Veblen goods, demand increases with price
Chase Ortiz
>reddit spacing
you have to go back
Xavier Cox
show your audio set up, user
you seem to know alot about audio
Brayden Hill
8 inch subwoofers aren't real subwoofers
Henry Carter
Reddit since 2012
Jow Forums since 2003
So back to here again then.
>reddit spacing
Yet you fail to see that reddit spacing isn't as old as Jow Forums spacing, nor did I use double line breaks after quoting.
Better luck next time, post-oldfag, you're talking to an originalfag here.
Justin Hall
It dropped significantly. You pay less for better quality today (if you are willing to search)
Daniel Barnes
>you have to go back
Maybe you should go somewhere else. Reddit spacing isn't real and only a failed reddit fag would even know what it means. Faggot.
Dominic Cruz
gottem
Lucas Thompson
Kill yourself my dude.
Lincoln Johnson
Not even then. I got a 5 disc DVD player / 6.1 surround sound system with a 1000W subwoofer back in 2005. Cost like $400. Besides, subs aren't really anything special, and something as powerful as mine just overpowers most normal speakers unless you crank it way down.
Leo Kelly
Why would you do that? You know what paragraphs are right? Jesus fuck get aids please.
Jaxson Ortiz
Why does nobody seem to remember that reddit was all Jow Forums users in the beginning? for a couple years, it was a great place to be
Samuel Wood
No. It was text Tumblr/left news for years.
Carson Wood
It has in many ways. Good Amps and dacs are cheap. CD players, decent cables, and computers are cheap.
Jose Myers
/tv/ get out... We know why you went to early reddit...
[notspoiler]We know, but sadly /lolikon/ will never return to Jow Forums[/irepeatnotspoiler]
Asher Torres
Do you know how much it costs to find rocks in the yard and put them in baggies?
Colton Harris
Fuck off Jow Forums, you guys are worse than furfags
no, it was just a really great site. the culture was a lot like Jow Forums at first. everybody here was excited because it was a replacement for digg.
Hudson Wilson
it's hand made and folded 1000 times
Mason Foster
>no, it was just a really great site. the culture was a lot like Jow Forums at first. everybody here was excited because it was a replacement for digg.
It very much wasn't you double nigger. Just because your favorite gay porn is from there doesn't mean it was ever a good website.
Xavier Davis
The reason I made an account on reddit was to comment on a page so that I could read it later.
The comment section is true cancer, but unlike here they put the most assanine posts at the top (karma whoring circle jerking comments gather the most le nice boat as most know.
They said it was gonna be upboat, but it was downboat from there on after.
Jack Reed
>The comment section is true cancer
Well now it is obviously, it went down the tubes as soon as normal people started going there. But for awhile the comments were good and karma whoring wasn't a big problem
Don't you remember "muh girlfriend"? It was the complete opposite of the virtue-signalling garbage it's become.
