class-action lawsuits launched for planned obsolescence
The problem here wasn't that people had to pay for battery replacements, it was that they were told their phones needed replacing. They were encouraged to buy a new phone rather than get the battery replaced.
People don't complain about planned obsolescence because they need a battery replacement, unless that battery replacement isn't offered. Apple had the service available but they didn't tell people that was the solution to their problem.
They deserved all the class-action lawsuits they got.

I just got a phone with a removable battery. *shrug*

Batteries are covered in warranty and were $29 OoW for a long while. Now it's $69 or something. Not a big deal as that includes service. While all phones use the same battery tech and thus all shit out after a few years such programs aren't common for Android phones. So you have to take it to some random third party which is certainly not desirable. I think Google and Samsung are the only companies that have a comparable program. Doing it first party is always preferable.

How often do you need to replace the battery?
Sounds like a good little revenue stream, for a year or two.

Apple loves fucking Normies in their poophole, and normies are happy to oblige.

How the fuck do these lawsuits get launched? What's the logic? Huawei does this but apple doesn't let's sue them. Nobody fucking makes you buy apple. If they don't want to include it why must they? Fucking communists.

lol no one cares, feel free to explain watts to people. People plug in phone and leave it and it's done in 2h vs like 30-40 min faster on some quick charger

>it's a hit among machine life forms
