Imagine waking up strapped to a medical bed in a dimly lit room. You look over right before you're captor enters to have an idea of what might be in store for you, and all you see is ops pic.

that's gonna be a lot of sθylent

I want to get the gay meme set for a friend of mine who's big into the gay discord shitcommunity

Where can i buy the stereotype Pink + Blue keycap set on like, a 104 key at least?
All i can find is mechs in black or white and then you replace the caps yourself, which seems doable but like a huge investment

just get a Miami set

Do any keyboards come in that colorway?

Buying him a mech keyboard and a set is doable but seems like a dick move

Are those Airshit?

yeah KBP has one, but you can also buy the keycaps separately

Attached: miami.jpg (1296x745, 149K)

>huge investment
wut? it's like 5-6 minutes of work

It's an extra set of keycaps laying around, extra work, and extra cost

I guess i'm overthinking it though

Fullsize?

yes full size, but it's much much cheaper to buy a chink board and a chink set of Miami keycaps

You're new here.

No he has like 200 guns.

What's the Jow Forums meme keyboard for a cheap mech, with a tenkeypad with no RGB

Model M if you got the right seller.

what is the absolute best keyboard to type on for comfort/ergonomics? bonus points if you mention a mouse too. I'm getting rid of this gamer crap

M15 with a MX Master

Plz help total noob

The one with white LEDs is out of stock, unless you don't mind the white case.

Thanks fren. Looks good.

I'm in the market for a custom usb cable. What store does /mkg/ recommend? (I live in Australia if that helps)

Am too brainlet.

Any keyboards like the 6G? they have my dick hard but its hard to find them nowadays

TKL.
More space for mouse, doesn't take time to get used to.

CODE WASD 87 perfect keyboard.!

Nice keyboard (or as I've taken to calling them, haptic typing aides)

Steno takes a long time to learn but is rewarding, to be honest it's the form factor and chording that really make it. That's Georgi whole thing, you have a steno board that also does really good QWERTY. Ergo gains of steno without the headache.

There's always fingerspelling. Ted works in JS all day and programs using steno. Right now he's making a Georgi, his dictionaries are up on github!

So for a word that's not in your dictionary you'll fingerspell it out. This is about as fast as regular typing, once you've finished you can stroke PL*D (Plover update, I think that's the stroke) and it will prompt you for a stroke to assign the spelling to.

Attached: unknown.png (930x763, 450K)

The more haptic, the better.

Attached: Nixeus.jpg (1278x718, 135K)

You say that, but haptic enhanced keyboards are a thing. They're just a gimmick though.

say that to my face fucker not online

oh baby

daily reminder to avoid gergo at all costs. and above all holy fuck dont ask him to build one for you (i.e. order a ready). sure it may seem fun to support a shitposting leaf that likes boutique styles and switches, but unless you build the kit yourself you will get:
-terrible build quality
-a trackball that doesn't work because he never tested it and a drilled keycap that doesn't mount to the trackball, that is also not debured.
-no case and an autistic argument against cases
-flux that has not been cleaned

save your money for a better kit, dont support someone that hypes themselves up but cant even take the time to make a good product

This, don't buy readies I hate whacking them together.

Also user, why not just heat that leg and reseat the switch? Sorry about that. As far as the trackball, there's a reason I canned that hunk of shit. Cases are on GH if you have access to a laser cutter :)

Learned a bunch about shipping though, out of 10 readys, 3 got absolutely fucked during shipping and rev1 diode pads were way too small for comfort.

Attached: GigiStd.jpg (1632x1224, 264K)

Can't say I've seen an uglier case for a keyboard.

Are you meant to rest your dick in the gap?

Can you 360 noscope with those ?

Attached: Gamers rise up.jpg (2996x2247, 2.14M)

Gonna use amoebas for that or just wire directly to the switches?

With that keyboard? No of course not, you need a mouse for that. Pic related.

Attached: pecker detector kb.jpg (2400x1600, 971K)

Not mine, Pseudoku whipped her up. Been meaning to get around to running one off myself. DM-style is a bit too big for me.

Dactyl manuform OR georgi/some other steno

If you could only pick between Cherry Blue, ALPS white, or IBM buckling spring, which clicky switch would you have for the rest of your life?

What the fuck is this picture? I was just thinking about a non-flat georgi and then I see this abomination. Palm trackball?

lol that's pretty bad
box jade

>implying it would fit

(obligatory, I did it for him)

why are all the super expensive 1337 alloy cases and keycaps TKL?

It's GiGi!

Grab the sad and fuck with the params before yeeting her off the printer.

Elite keyboarders have a separate numpad device.

wtf is this shit!

Attached: mci30-1920x500.jpg (1920x500, 117K)

I'm going to be on this for life.

Attached: filcoblue.jpg (1000x750, 85K)

Man, Filco hasn't been the go to keyboards for a long time.

Must've bought it a decade ago. Is there anything new worth buying?

Maybe? There have been a ton of new switches around that are better than Cherry MX, get some box switches and give them a try.

Just got myself an IBM Model M, but the PS2 to USB converter I've bought doesn't really work that well, i always have to unplug it and plug it in again, every time i restart my pc, after that though it works just fine. Is this a common problem with these converters, or are there better options out there?

Attached: modelm.jpg (800x344, 105K)

My PS2 connectors always got pretty loose, I just assumed it was the universal problem of the port.
Check to see if there's any bent pin.

So there's no BUY STAX of /mkg/ I see.

hhkb is the stax of mkg
ergo split is the hd600 of mkg as it's just perfect (preferably dactyl manuform)
anything else like overpriced staggered 60% boards, 40% ortho boards etc are like planar/superlux whatever other gimmick you can think of

Guys, do you have any good experience in creating keyboards from trash? I want to revive my tada68 with completely damaged pcb and use this arduino micro pro with 20 i/o. Wiil it work?

Attached: .png (1200x475, 333K)

tada layout requiresexactly 20 from what I can tell
(15 columns, 5 rows)
if it has 20 usable i/o pins then it should work
teensy 2.0 would work as well
does the tada plate mount to the case properly without the pcb under it?

In reality keyboard doesn't have pcb at all. Teensy pcb and delivery are to expensive in comparison to this arduino board.

Attached: .jpg (1080x1047, 173K)

I use the monoprice one and it works just fine. The only issue is that when you wake the computer up from sleep the key you pressed is still recognized so you have to press it again.

Favorite Switch go:

Where the hell do you get a trackball module like that?

Gut a M570 and get some custom shit going. That's not functional as it's a hundred prototype. Needs a custom PCB, custom optical jazz and etc

My god what is the from

Gun user, that’s a beautiful M8. Do you have a Wolf Ultramatic or any Matebas in your collection?

Just built a board with box jades and I love it. I even managed to get through a day at work without my coworkers complaining.

Meant to reply

Go to bed qlavier

You guys have at least one keyboard with beeper right?
youtube.com/watch?v=KQCCo6Trf-w

Box navy, using them in this board right now.

Attached: IMG_20180926_161727.jpg (3100x1606, 830K)

you bet, but solenoids sound better. also technically it's a piezoelectric buzzer not a beeper

Attached: 20181016_173234.jpg (4032x3024, 3.38M)

Yes, some PS/2 to USB converters don't actually work correctly with the Model M, it's a known issue.
clickykeyboards.com/product-category/ps2-keyboard-to-usb-adapter-converters/

White ALPS

Thanks, no, those are really neat! I'd love to get either but the secret is out.

Attached: 1552616798721.jpg (2048x1361, 780K)

Niggers, whats the secret to cleaning old alps switches, literally every old alps keyboard i come across feels like garbage and cleaning/lubing them wont help much, they still feel like garbage

Attached: IMG_0148.jpg (3072x2304, 1.47M)

Stick those cunts in an ultrasonic cleaner?

The bargain of a lifetime...and real Honeywell too!

Attached: Honeywell honest goy.png (1166x619, 438K)

Do matias click switches have binding problems? because i absolutely hate binding

Attached: large_483_DSC_0042.jpg (708x642, 44K)

Not really Honeywell keyboards are a pain in the ass to convert, not to mention that they have 1kro. Their keycaps are nice, but those are the ABS ones instead of the PEI ones that look a lot better. I was lucky and got a free Honeywell Hall Effect numberpad, but I'd never pay money for one after knowing how much of a pain it is to set up. The only ones that are worth it are the symbolics ones.

Did you guys see the latest drama with .01 on leddit

bruh

Attached: Coco2.jpg (1140x760, 118K)

youtube.com/watch?v=7VdfoNXeAFs
binding would be the least of your worrys

Actually, that was a pcb problem from the matias keyboards, not the switch itself.

Just googled it, turns out it doesn't actually use hall effect switches.
Still the keycaps don't look all that good

No-one should need a surface of constant width

>not instantly recognizing a coco

Attached: 1416274529367.png (320x224, 60K)

That is a keychattering issue... I have had v80s and v60s that did that. The only way to fix it is to replace the switch itself.

I was an Comaq and Quantex kid tho
