Rest in pieces, shitel.

Can some of you, Intbeciles, test 9xxx and see for yourselves how it completely gets BTFO'd even by gen1 Zen now? Come on, kids, show us your embarrassment in the open before the entirety of the world wide web.

Dude they're gonna develop legit psychosis if this keeps happenning, 9900k without HT is just 9700k, and it gets destroyed by 2700x even in multithread, let alone efficiency and security.

lol. By next year i9-9900k is going to be as slow as r3 1300x.

Don't forget the obligatory:

Attached: 1557268598541.jpg (1327x1222, 331K)

Now turn off HT

>Trusting (((benchmarks)))
Last time AMD won in cpu-z benchmark they changed it to favor intel because IT MUST'VE BEEN FLAWED IF INTEL DIDN'T WIN

At least post some legit benchmarks and not some retarded FUD

This is the "already-(((changed)))" one, though. Geddit?

Nice try, Intbecile.

NO PLEASE SATAN HAVE MERCY

8400 is a 6 core, HT was already disabled in OP pic.

only reason intel has all these vulnerabilities discovered is because no1curr about amd
same reason macos has less malware than windows LOL

'em

That's the second time in a row, kek: -->

It's over bros, Intel is finished.

Thanks based allah for I have AMD processor.
My 24 rupees are safe from wh*te hackers.

Let me ask you, did you for a moment consider paying for Intel's shit?. If so what changed your mind to make the smarter choice?.

I myself have always been AMD.

Like a fucking clock.
EVERY

FCKN.
TIEM.

god damn it, intel really is getting fucked so hard that amd will jack up the prices for ryzen 3000.

AMD hasn't had the upper ground in eons. Mommy Su's job is to make AMD money, not to be nice to us NEETs. she will absolutely take advantage of intel's selfcucking.

YFW the 8400 is really a quad core with one core disable, and has HT secretly enabled.

Attached: 1523445224138.gif (500x411, 178K)

>If so what changed your mind to make the smarter choice?
I realized I'm a street shitter so AMD was the natural choice.

They will change it again

So this will heavily affect corporate level computers, right? They have tons of info that can't be leaked, so this will be quite devastating.

Unfortunately I can't update. I have too little performance as is, so I'll just have to bite the bullet. I haven't had an issue from spectre or meltdown yet, so i don't see why I should worry.

Pic-related is the first couple months of sales.
A daily reminder 2950X can now be bought for ~700$ in some places.

Attached: 1543201660279.png (631x310, 14K)

it's going to be really epyc for AMD.

It's became over in 2017, yet Intbeciles denied the harsh truth of surrounding reality and struggled to the very bitter end by closing their eyes and ears. Some still try to squirm even nowadays. Disgusting and miserable.

>right next to the moneysink that is their shit foundry business

is that pic for real? that's more than 50% of performance loss, and that cpu doesn't even have ht (you need to disable ht for full mitigation, "regular" mitigation is just a band-aid). holy shit, intel is dead.

i always wondered if amd was behind of some of those "leaks" just like intel was behind cts labs too

Hahaha holy fuck who knew taking massive arch shortcuts for (speed) would backfire as soon as the lacklustre security broke

Literally test made by one of the anons yesterday, before the ((("""""patches"""""))) and after.

I refuse to update. I can't take anymore performance drops. Tell me how I'm in danger if I don't keep any personal data on my PC.

Well, at least it's going to use less power with HT off.

yes sirs ples buy intel good yes buy buy buy

this is AMD's golden chance to increase market share. rising the prices at this moment is the stupidest strategic decision you can ever make.

i think this is a very bad security hole, look at this user:
>To be able to exploit the vulnerability, no more is needed than hiding a few lines of malicious code on for example a website. A visitor that opens this site open, it will leak information.

>In a just-published support document, Apple suggests that full ZombieLoad mitigation will require Intel chip users to disable Intel’s hyper-threading processing feature — a major selling point of the chipmaker’s CPUs. During testing this month, Apple says that it found “as much as a 40 percent reduction in performance with tests that include multithreaded workloads and public benchmarks,” though actual performance impacts will vary between machines.

>Intel is the housefire CPU now
>Intel is the (literally) eternal wait CPU now
God works in mysterious ways.

>Apparently Intel attempted to play down the issue by trying to award the researchers with the 40,000 dollar tier reward and a separate 80,000 dollar reward as a "gift" (which the researchers kindly denied) instead of the maximum 100,000 reward for finding a critical vulnerability.
>Intel was also planning to wait for at least another 6 months before bringing this to light if it wasn't for the researchers threatening to release the details in May.

I don't have information on this PC though. I think the most I have is a login for like a news site, but nothing more. That mainly stemmed from my distrust of password managers.

>higher is better

Attached: 1500691797221.jpg (533x585, 113K)

Also, this seems like an issue that can be at least partially mitigated with browser updates. With that said, I just don't go to websites that I don't trust, and have full adblockers on sites that I do trust. If something can defeat every one of these mitigations, then nothing can protect me at that point, not even the security updates.

>I don't have information on this PC though.
would you kindly post your IP address here? I mean it seems you have nothing to lose.

Where have you been for the last 8 years? Housefires started waaaaay back, with 990X.

I have a haswell, how fucked am I ? will the performance become even shittier than it already is?

Intel itself recommends disabling Hyperthreading: tomshardware.com/news/intel-disable-hyper-threading-spectre-attack,39333.html

Happy now?

Reminder Jow Forums is always right about Intel jews.

No, this is literal truth. Every Inturd is affected, all the way back to fucking NeetBUUUUURRRRRRRRst.

>Soka University
post your real IP

Thank you Jow Forums for warning me about jews and making me buy AMD instead.

What's wrong? Can't find me from that? I guess you're not as 1337 a hacker as you thought.

oh my word. i actually feel sorry for that user. may god be with you, user.

There is no god where there are Judes.

Holy fucking shit, i am dumping my i7 6700k right fucking now.Any suggestions? i only game on my rig mostly.

10900K

It may not be out yet, but you can fund the development of the future proof 14nm++++++++.

sell it while it is still valuable. Zen 2 will blow that shit out of the water.

Oh hell no, intel can go f themselves now, i was waiting for Ryzen 1 but a friend sold it to me for cheap and i fell for it.

At this point i am willing to get whatever money they offer me.

>At this point i am willing to get whatever money they offer me.

don't, idiots will pay top dollar for that shit.

Damn, i hope so, if they know about all the shit going on i really doubt they would even buy it, but yeah i am gonna call some close friends that might be interested, i am gonna check my credit to see if i can get a Ryzen 5 2600 with a b450 mobo right now, goddamn jews man.

Attached: 4zpwqFD.jpg (334x274, 17K)

>if they know about all the shit going on i really doubt they would even buy it.

normies don't follow news, well not up to date. so better sell it soon.

tfw got a Braswell Celeron netbook running Arch (btw)

Intel why, it's already been abused by you thus far. It's overall pretty comfy for a silent, passively cooled laptop but god damn stop kicking it in the balls.

Zen 2 will likely be announced in a week, it'll be worth the upgrade

At this point it doesn't matter even if Zen2 is only like 5% better (worst case scenario) compared to all the Intel retarded shit it will be worth it.

The thing is that
buying zen+ now is meaningless with zen2 a week away, just wait a few days.

So, this is the actual reason they released so many new cpus without HT?

Obviously.

it was pro-consumer lol!
the reason they're still on 14nm is because it gives them more space to add security!
