I worked at a couple startups which decided that I should also sysadmin and be a fucking janitor. I wasn't about to do the work of three people for the price of one, so I left and got HVAC certs. I like being on my feet all day better than sitting on my ass and I don't have to deal with obnoxious bugmen and trannies, and the pay is slightly better. I also work less hours so I have time with my wife and child. The tech industry is soul crushing and degenerate. Get out ASAP.
