So? Just restore your backup.

>tfw deleted the wrong system32

>tfw diskpart select wrong disk number clean

rm -rf system33

To be honest, Unix commands could be a little more safe by default. I know dd is nicknamed disk destroyer and requires root so you should be cautious while using it, but even simple commands like rm are too destructive. Accidentally deleted the wrong file due to typo in filename / globbing pattern? Tough luck, there's no confirmation or recycle bin, the only thing you can do is data recovery and hope for the best.

No. It's on the user to not be a dipshit. Go back to windows if you can't be bothered to pay attention.

I believe there's a rm like command to moves items to a recycle bin, though recycle bins are DE dependent and not a POSIX standard nor a defacto Unix thing, so this command might work depending on your DE and distro
iirc it's trash-cli

hahahahahahhhhahahahah
I've done this before. Lost my windows partition, no harm done really.

It happened while backing up >: (

>having more than one drive
that's what you get, nerd

How the fuck can one person be this retarded?

Everyone makes mistakes brah.

You're not suppose to use unix commands if you don't know what you're doing.
do as this user tells you and go back to windows

make fglt thread with this

>Lost my windows partition
that's a good thing

But why would you dd WHILE also running a back up? That isnt a mistake, thats weapon grade autism.

tfw extundelete

>dd while backing up
