Your cd rip is prob worse quality souly necause you're retarded

i used that at one point

If the artist isn't profiting from the CD sale then, yes.
They should get a bigger cut of web purchases anyway.

What new music is even worth pirating? The latest thing on my playlist is a lesson in crime by tokyo police club.

I don't listen to much new music, I can still find old stuff I enjoy.

If your rips are better quality than the shit you download then not a bad idea. You still might be retarded in that case because it's not hard to find good quality music without soulseek (whatever the fuck that is). I'd still just download the music even if I buy it so that I don't have to waste my time ripping it or even breaking the seal to the cd. You have the opportunity to preserve value by not opening it and you are for no reason.

I buy used CDs at Amoeba and rip them on my Lenovo Thinkpad T420

Deezloader is based.

What is the best way to rip CDs?

With a CD reader.

this. OP just pirate a FLAC copy in the first place and avoid all this rigamarole.

abcde

Nah OP, that seems like a very reasonable system. You can only trust soulseek so much.

You do you, big guy

i'd rather be a pirate than be this autistic jfc

Will I get angry mail from my ISP if I use Soulseek?

I buy physical copies of my favorite albums, pirate everything else
I don't care if the artist profits or not, I buy physical copies because I want physical copies

Buying CDs is based, they're cheap these days. I just got a fifty pound box of loose ones for twenty bucks. I still haven't gone through them but there must be 1500 of them in there. If there are 3 good ones I'm still only paying half price compared to retail for them.

I have a T25 and a T420 and the T420 has a nicer feeling keyboard. Last decent Thinkpad (along with the X220).

cdparanoia and abcde are both good, cdparanoia can read discs other programs have issues with like if they're scratched up and such

>>actually buy cd eventually
This is the only way

I also rip in t420

Depends on who your ISP is. I use vpn

>You have the opportunity to preserve value by not opening it
Why bother buying shit then? Hoarders do shit like this.
