Why not get an AMD laptop with like 10X the performance and capable of a little medium-high 1080p gaming? You don't have to disable hyperthreading on it and you only get like 5 out of the 30 intel security vulnerabilities and even then the mitigations have very little impact on SSD or CPU performance.
