Otherwise it’s the same as every other distro.
Commercial success
What's so great about rpm?
Is it hard to get the RHCSA?
The logo. It's much better than most of the shit FOSS projects use.
>tfw leftist apologists remade the logo because white guy was racist
it's just more marketable, red hat has paid products
They charge for it so companies assume it's better than CentOS.
It’s IPO had the biggest price gain in history up to that point.
Nah the dude on the old logo look like a shady hacker may scare some people away
Stable kernel ABI with backports
Thanks bro

What the actual fuck. I just woke up and I'm ready to die.
That the logo was a T-rex punching a triceratops.
Now, nothing much.
Is this what sysadmins use?
>Mozilla punching GNU
Brave.
Companies pay for the enterprise support, since that's what really matters.
Best dependency system, pretty fast, industry standard
>mfw triceratops lost
its just a cheap shot mate he'll bounce back
Has a cooler name than most of the cuckfag distros names after dumbass spearchucker words
>RTX OFF

Yes
Depends on how much Linux experience you already have. I had 10 years of Debian and Ubuntu knowledge and did a 4 day course to do RHCSA and RHCE. Didn't find it hard at all but there where some boomers in the same exam who struggled a lot. And they like to include some bullshit that prevents the VM from booting. If you don't know how to fix that you are fucked.
I'm planning to do the RHCSA. What do you mean by bullshit with the VM. Also any tips?
> What do you mean by bullshit with the VM
If you have to ask, you're not ready.
> Also any tips?
No, fuck off. There's an NDA so no one is going to talk to you about it.
>what makes it special
Goverment/corporate funding/payment
The whole exam is to do shit on a VM they provide. And I'm not sure if it was CSA or CE but one VM didn't start i can't say the real task because there is a NDA like told you. But something like a fucked up fstab and you just get an error message on boot. If you can't fix that you can't do any of the other tasks and get 0 points. Read the teaching material everything you need to know is in there. You don't need to know every parameter of every command because you have the man pages and --help but you should know instantly which commands you need if you read the task during the exam.
You have 10 seconds to explain why you not using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
I'm still on 6.10.
