I can't even name a competitor that has done half the shit they have without it being an absolute dumpster fire. I had this happen with a 2011 MacBook. After about 2 years of daily usage there was pitting in the palm rest. Looked like pic related but higher up and about half as bad. My palms don't even sweat that much and I wash my hands frequently. Needless to say, I never bought Macshit again. I'm happier with my Dell Latitude which doesn't have this problem.
