>27"
>will run at up to 144Hz at 4K, in HDR-10
no they won't
not without hdmi 2.1
which is currently unsupported by nvidia
stop lying leather jacket man
>inb4 incoming seething idiots
Are you fucking retarded? This is DisplayPort 1.4a
Will gsync work with AMD cards yet?
I don't want to buy Nvidia when I upgrade to 3700X.
...which delivers 25.92 Gbit/s max data rate which is not enough to drive 4K HDR at 144Hz
>Will gsync work with AMD cards
LOL
why do people even give a shit about g-sync and freesync at 120+hz anyway when screen tearing is hardly an issue at high and stable refreshrates and motion blur reduction (ulmb/dyac/strobing backlights) make a much more noticeable difference? is marketing really that powerful?
adaptive sync is for unstable sub-80 fps
>576 zones
>32x18 zones
>each zone is 120px w x h
DSC, now fuck off faggot
lossy compression on everything no thanks brother
>GET A HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE, WIDE GAMUT DISPLAY
>ONLY TO LOSSY COMPRESS THE SHIT OUT OF IT WITH FUCKING CHROMA SUBSAMPLING
off yourself
I enjoy
The real news is the "65” display running at up to 4K 120Hz, with 1000 nit peak-brightness G-SYNC ULTIMATE HDR, DCI-P3 color, and ultra-low latency."
>27"
Why don't they make these at 40"-43" sizes? 27" is too small and 65" is too big for a desk.
miniled are not microled. just marketing shit for smaller FALD
i think 32" is ideal monitor size. but i want at 5120x2880 at least
>is marketing really that powerful?
yes, marketing is literally 100% king when it comes to 90% of the population.
Only a very small percentage of the population actually compares things and does research on things in depth to see if it's worth anything.
so, how much? $3k?
the pixel density of 4k
at 27
its gonna be nice
27" is slightly more than I personally need for the desk, I'd want 26" if it was possible.
fuck high density and fuck dpi scaling
I want more pixels for more working space and field of view not slightly sharper details
i like both, 35" 6000x4000 monitor please so i can run it at 200% scaling
oh well why do you care about 144
>mini-LED
wait, so micro-led, right?
>27
dropped
my favorite meme
no mini led is only used for backlighting they are not emitting light themselves unlike micro=led which is 10 years away
High refresh should be standard IMO. 60hz is ugly and 24hz to 60hz conversion judder is even uglier. 120hz is the ideal all purpose refresh rate for now.
