It's an issue for me, so I don't play. How that affects you is beyond me. If afk teammates aren't trading, or accruing hours for the weekly drops, then I'm against a game that allow such a thing to go unsanctioned.

I'm glad you're having a pleasant experience, mine however last year playing saw mostly frustrating, to the point of it being not worth it.

To be honest it shows that you stopped playing in 2012. Nowadays weekly drops are so worthless that idling is a net loss on electricity, and all trading is done via Steam API without launching the game.
