Dare I say, is MX Linux the truth?
#1 ranked distro on distrowatch by far
>made in partnership with antix
No, I like my distros activism free
>doesn't know Systemd is an event manager
>thinks systemd is an init system
>"w-why should an init do all these things that crond and watchd used to do?"
Systemd is the opposite of bloat. It actually reduces complexity and redundancy. The only reason systemd even handles init is because init of the system is an event, no different than any of the other many events that systemd handles.
SVCHost and launchd all do the same exact tasks that systemd does.
systemd is modular, and most components, like the hardcoded DNS mess are 100% optional modules that aren't even loaded by default.
>>#1 ranked distro on distrowatch by far
you say that as if it means something
yeah well your gay
Been using it for 2 years now and never looked back
free software is inherently political
He doesn't know what bloat is.
>No systemd
It does, but it's worked around, and/or optional.
is that stephan molyneux
Whats the advantage of using this over Devuan?
Debian hasn't been updated, and has issues that mx Linux already fixed, or implemented work arounds a long time ago.
like what, a new xfce skin?
it doesnt sound like ebonics
I use devuan
>hardcoded (((google))) dns
>deletes your efivars
>"you are just using it wrong"
>defending systemd in any way
unironically bloat
Not if you don't use it that way
I run proprietary software within free software cause i giv no fuks
fuck you
all those things systemd ate were shit though.
No they aren't.
GPL isnt communist
>free software is inherently political
Pick one you fucking trannies.
It's called updated repos.
