I've worked with people with EE and ME Sci.D's from MIT in the past. Some of them were in-fucking-timidating, because they could jump in at any level from the components on our boards to the control theory behind the whole system, then easily point out where you'd fucked up. Most of them were great at one thing, not everything. None of them were industrial design mavins.

Can't do that in a business environment. We would buy these for video editing. It's expensive but the meetings and budget talks are already in the works. If the desktop alone can stay around 10k for solid performance then we may buy 4.

Once again, Jow Forums is missing the point. These Pro models are extremely overpriced because they're mostly targeted toward enterprise use. So, like business-class tickets, hospital bills, etc., they mark it up insanely high because companies can afford it anyway. For all the shit about its edgy look and fan layout, it's a solid machine for its target demographic and perhaps the best option money can buy without building it yourself.
