current /iemg/ good cheap memes are:
>KZ ZSN/ZS10 Pro
they're great if you like v-shaped signature, has great bass. Has a weird treble hole in the 6K Hz region though. Overall, they're really great for first iems.

Attached: 1558764747859.jpg (1400x900, 177K)

>Tin Audio T2
Mighty balanced (though a bit trebly for some people) but has a weak bass that's gonna take long to appreciate (no ugly-ass muddiness) if you're not used to it. They're almost always on sale too.
No problems really, besides some people having cable problems (easily and cheaply replaced).

protip: don't go for the T2 Pros, they're hot as shit in the treble. and if you can, go with the T3s (for better bass)

>Sony MH755
Can be found very cheap and has a good v-shaped/balanced-ish sound. Follows the Harman TC closely. Two major cons is distortion on high volume, and can be found fake on Ebay. Someone on this thread should give a good seller here on Ebay. Also has a weird cable

Protip: if you're handy with electronics and shit, recable these.

A better alternative to these are the Moondrop Crescents for $30

>RevoNext QT2/QT2S
or the zishan-user special
they are iems with actual sub-bass. v-shaped and fun. fit is supposedly good. QC is a bit iffy on some people, but zishan-user fucking shills this thing like there's no tomorrow.
Get the QT2S if you can for a better cable.

BASED KZ

So what are some good cables for the CCA C10s with a mic? I hear that the KZ cables aren't good.

Some yinyoo ones are pretty good

WHAT the Tin Audio sounds LIKE THIS ?

youtu.be/MbNhzSIwJW8

>not one ounce of bass

Anyone who owns both the ZSN and the ZSN pro, any insight on to how different they are?

How are the treble and mids of the QT2S?

battery dies in 30m. not sure it would connect to my 10y old walkman too, is bluetooth even backwards compatible?

You guys reckon this will let me use my iSine 20s on my PC? I hardly ever use them since I'm a hermit and never go anywhere.

Some xiaomi and xiaomi air dots

DT660s came in today
Immediately replaced the dogshit cable with its terrible memory wire (read: paper clip heat shrinked to the braid) and the tips, which weren't awful but expanded slowly for my taste
After a bit of bass boost and treble dipping in EQ, it sounds lovely with great separation and clear, high quality bass. However, I still somewhat miss the niggerbass of my 215s. I'll see if I can EQ more somehow

this is retarded...

wtf is wrong with the industry and dongles

UM SWEETY DONGS MAKE WOMYN IN TECH UNCOMFORTABLE THEREFORE YOU SHOULD BE FIRED TOXIC MALE SCUM OKAY :^)

audeze fell for the apple meme and their proprietary lightning bullshit

Tin Audio T2 has too much bass? and isn't flat enough?

I have a pair of Campfire Comets. Is there anything better in this price bracket? I'd love to try the Andromeda but that price tag is a no-go.

Maybe try some Moondrop stuff? I heard they're warm

So, I have desktop amp/DAC with huge output impedance - 10 ohm single-ended, 20 ohm balanced (Topping Dx7s).
What device do I need to listen to my IEMs properly through it?

Anyone heard KZ ZS7? Trying to decide between that and the ZS10 Pro.

that's a cute girl desu

final e4000

Can anyone recommend a cheap wireless iem? It won't be my daily driver just something I use when exercising

What’s in your ears user?

why not get the e3000 instead?

This is a meme. Youll never be able to see the screen with it in your ear.

Is this the best design to prevent ear pain and wax impaction?

Fuck off you retarded youtuber. Go shill your channel somewhere else.
Treble is overly emphasized and mids recessed.
QCY QS1 is a cheaper alternative. Not as good.
ZS7 is inferior to the ZS10.
QCY QS1
TRN 8 core or any yinyoo cable.
Do people even read the fuckin thread ? Tin T2
KZ AS06 for jazz is bliss
>He can't see with his ears
Faggot
No. That would be something like a TenHZ P4 Pro

>KZ AS06 for jazz is bliss
don't really like the cyber look, I am looking for something more classy

is it possible to get FM radio in IEM wireless format? like bluetooth ones, but for FM radio too?

>TenHZ P4 Pro
Would these be comfy to sleep with?
Also those tips push wax further in.

Attached: 610LIp39JkL._SX425_.jpg (425x425, 11K)

which one of these will cure my tinnitus

You want sound or you want looks ? Don't be a faggot.
Probably not. You should not sleep with any earbuds/IEMs anyway

how do you guys cope with the fact that you will be deaf in 5 years?

>You should not sleep with any earbuds/IEMs anyway
But listening to ASMR is my only way to sleep.

And destroying your hearing is an okay trade ?
By not listening to loud music ?

Sleep deprivation is worse than hearing loss.

lads, are there any IEM's with:
>a(n) (semi) open design
and/or
>not an aggressive v-shape?

Is there any good replacement for the trn v80?

Ye. PHB EM-023
TFZ Tequila
Moondrop Nameless
Audeze ISine
Headroom MS16
Yinyoo V2
Senfer DT8
Astrotec lyra classic
Smabat ST10
BGVP DMS
IMR acoutstics R1

Budget ?

$150 is the max I could go I guess. I prefer a more neutral iem like t2 but v-shaped like v80 is also ok.

save up just a little but more and get the TSMR 3 PRO. trust me its worth it.

soundmagic e10/e80s are great for that

How big is it? I have small ears and the v80 is just perfect for me.

I have Etymotics (ER4S and ER4XR).
I’m totally happy with them, but are they a meme? Could I really be getting something much better?
I’ve had the S for about 15 years and the XR for two, they’re both solid, and I don’t feel like I’m lacking anything, but fomo is real.

It looks bigger but it's mostly the part that doesn't touch your ear. The fit is very ergonomic.
Depends on what you consider better. It's one of (if not) the flattest earphone/headphone in the world. It's not very musical however and it's better suited for monitoring than actually listening for enjoyment. Whatever you buy will not be a straight up upgrade objectively speaking. But audio is very subjective. You could try to go to audio shops and try out some fancy stuff.

Do you have suggestions for what I should try out? Tech shops where I live have literally dozens of IEMs to try out, and it’s kind of overwhelming for me. I could filter by price but even then a lot of them are memed IEMs with “hi-res audio” logos and not much specs on what they mean.
Also, this is my own ignorance speaking, but what makes it musical or not? I don’t have a lot of experience but I though flatness was a goal, since the music itself should have the dynamic range mastered into it, and the headphones should aim to reproduce it perfectly.

There's only a handful of flat earphone models. Music is mastered with consumer audio in mind. Hence why a truly flat earphone is perfect in theory but most music will sound underwhelming. Flatness is indeed a goal but it's one of many. You should look up target curves like the Harman curve.
I guess you could try some of the more high profile models. The campfire audio Andromeda ( only this one from the company) some jomo audio or even 64 audio.
