It's been scientifically proven that your body burns carbs faster than it burns fat and protein, thus you will become hungry again quicker. I'm not saying you won't be fine on a mostly carb diet, but if your goal is to stay full for as long as possible as some sort of crutch impulse control, you would be better off eating a more varied diet.
