Intel is irrelevant. Stop posting about them.

you have 1 hour to delete this post goy

Inturds clinging on to their precious 9900K for dear life.

based illiterateposter remakes his shitty brand-war/post-purchase rationalization thread

It's not the high-end that's been losing, it's the mid-midhigh that's losing. They could keep the "BEST GAYMER" tag but it's not looking good for those under the card.

Intel is like that Slugger that keeps getting counterpunched to death at the moment.

Honestly, we need them to get out of the rut so that we won't get the riculously priced A64-FX line another time.

Building a new PC, which CPU do I get? Thinking of getting an RTX 2070 but would like to go AMD cpu so the jews can't harvest all my data directly out of the CPU

yikes

baste

now can you show the 2700x being 15% better than my 8 year old 2600k in single core performance while being unable to touch 5ghz comfortably?

what a strange request

are you an idiot?

the OP pic is a 7600K and it's already overclocked.

>what is bulldozer

the new ryzens, obviously

>>>/71320634/

Inturds don't realize this, but their 6/6 and 8/8 SKU's are dead in the water. The 7600K is a reminder of things to come. With AMD driving optimization for game consoles, and more workloads favor threads instead of brute force, Intel needs to find a new way to do SMT, and fast.

Intel is going to be IBM tier within 5 years

im not asking that, im asking you to show an almost decade old intel cpu almost matching amd’s flagship cpu idiot

do you want to bring up bulldozer drone?

in what? you're goalpost-moving ass will not be satisfied.

im satisfied knowing i don’t need to upgrade :)

>whole video shows the 4 core CPU can't keep up with any 6 core part Intel or AMD.
>im satisfied knowing i don’t need to upgrade :)

Fuck your retarded brand-loyalty fucktard.

It doesn't though, 2600k stutters and hits 100% usage

t. Moved from 2600k to 2700x last year. Nearly doubled minimum framerates in modern games.

What flavor of gravy can we expect to leak from you, when you undoubtedly slash your wrists on Jew-lie 7th?

I just bought a HPE Xeon 4108 server. I would have loved to go Epyc but it was not an option for a single processor tower server (even whitebox wasn't an option).

says the one shilling AMD

sure thing moshe, subscribed to r/AMD

wow im absolutely btfo when you upgrade from poozyn 1700 to poozyn 3700x! o-only $330 of your hard earned shekels!

>everyone that goes against me must be shilling for AMD
GTFO Brandloyalty faggot.

Nice try Arvin

>tells him that his 2600K is obsoleted by 6cores by both intel and AMD
>screams AMD shill
??? You sir, are a retard.

What I don't understand is that people use that guys benchmarks to show that intel is shit vs AMD CPUS.
But when the same guys benchmarks are posted to show that AMD GPUs are worse than nvidia GPUS, then suddenly he gets called a hack and that he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Why can't you be consistent about this and just either agree he is competent and that we can use his benchmarks to compare hardware, or that he is incompetent and that his benchmarks are untrustworthy.
Why this cherry picking and back and forth? It's confusing for me to watch.

t. brand fanboy inventing his own version of events

how far are intel shills ready to go

Intel's decade-old CPUs aren't far off their current CPUs either lol. If AMD is close to intel's current offerings in performance, then making fun of them for not being much better than an OC'd 2600k is also making fun of intel simultaneously.

All the way to bankruptcy and irrelevance

how do I delete other people's posts?

kek

Absolutely disgusting

Yes, it's a terrible prediction of a guy that just parrots what articles say at the time instead of looking at roadmaps, newer titles, apis, etc. I think we knew at the time that Intel was going 6 cores, that should be the bare minimum.

Can you please point out whats wrong with my point?
Calling me names and such is not a strong argument.

>Brought to you by Intel Retail Edge Program

>It's not the high-end that's been losing, it's the mid-midhigh that's losing.
Intel could have sold 6c/12t for under $200 in 2017.
HT only increases their costs (die space) by 1%.

Of course, this was all before it became aware that HT has endless security vulns and has to be disabled, but they COULD have done that.
Instead they set their SKUs ina way that i5 is only there to create buyers remorse so you'll overpay for a barely (engineering wise) better i7 next time.

9% slower for 12% cheaper and twice as good for most productivity uses. What's the problem?

How about you compare a 2070 to a 2080?
>2070 btfo so much slower don't buy Nvidia!!!

>9% slower for 12% cheaper and twice as good for most productivity uses. What's the problem?
Because prices aren't the same everywhere.
In my case for instance radeon 7 costs more than 2080. Somebody else might have different prices. Thus it's best to look at performance and let people look up the price for themselves.
