Straight forward really. All my porn is rather vanilla and boring, but I'd still be mortified if I died in an accident or something suddenly out of my control, and my family would find my porn stash. The riskiest stuff I have is some mom-dom, futa on trap, and pegging doujins. Also have a plaintext file in a separate encrypted container containing the usernames and passwords for every single online service or account I've ever used.

Encryption is only as good as your willpower not to give up the password. If some 3 letter agency is after you, you fucked up bad.

None of my personal computers have hard drives in them. I netboot into a secure thin client Linux distro to connect to remote machines in countries with less restrictive encryption/internet laws.

I also use Heads, which is a fork of Coreboot with some neat tamper-evidence features.

Reason? I value my privacy.

Laptop has SSD, which means you have to trust the manufacturer in order to properly wipe it before selling it. Since I have sensitive information on it, LUKS makes it so I don't even have to wipe it.
