Single core performance doesn't matter

HEDT doesn't matter. Only playing old unoptimized games at 500fps matters.

But cores don’t matte-

>10 core Intel
>6 core Ryzen

>Intel cores don't matter [X] ... at all

in fact it matches the 9980XE in single core perf, but again it's 10% behind the 9900K in single core since that's not the point of skylake HEDT (Skylake-X)

>AMD matches Intel on SC performance every year since Zen 1
Is it real now?

>7900x
woah it's fucking nothing

it matches the 9980XE in single core performance faggot, compared to the 9900K it's 10% behind. the 2700x is 30% behind

>Cope i7 - $799
>Ryzen 3600 - $190
JUST

I'm really really glad we live in this timeline. Thank you for the tech miracle AMD

>Intel beats AMD in single core benchmarks
lol fucking pajeets implying >benchmarks even matter implying >single core even matters

>Intel ties with AMD in single core benchmarks
lol Intel btfo!!

I'm buying Zen 2 but AMD shills are fucking embarrassing.

Well originally they were comparing to sandybridge/haslel and now it's caught up with coffee lake

cope

It's always been about price/performance. If money doesn't matter then just buy whatever the best chip is right now and shut up. Nobody is in that situation. First gen Ryzen was offering 92% the performance of Intel chips with more cores at hundreds of dollars less. When AMDfags said single thread performance wasn't everything it made sense because it's true. It's smarter to save $100, get two extra cores, and go from 350 frames to 270 frames in counter strike. Now that they're matching them in single threaded performance

THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING REASON TO BUY INTEL AT ALL! IT'S SORTA A BIG DEAL

NooOoOooooOooOOoOoooOOOOOoOOoo

Is it worthwhile putting one of these in my x470 2700x system?
Tempted to get to that magical 5ghz gayman 240hz

AMD made 64bit a reality.
AMD made dual core a reality.
AMD made quad core a reality.
AMD made octa core a reality.
AMD made a mid range part match intel's premium high end.

There is no company as based as AMD.

AMD made 16 cores for mainstream a reality

>windows updates DO NOT MATTER!

He enjoys installing his new intel microcodes (Sorry, can't find the negative side of that, now we are safe from 1337hackers)

My Sandy Bridge system actually became noticeably slower when upgrading to Win10 from 7. Basic things like opening explorer and populating thumbnails took half a second longer than before, and its not that way on my AMD system.
intel is the official brand of cope and denial now.

HEDT doesn't have the best single core performance. You know this, why are you making shit threads?

>pay microsoft to deliberately cripple ryzen performance
>waah, why did they release a "fix" so soon?

You forgot
>Comparing Intel's low clocked high core count last gen CPU's with AMD's new low core count high clock part in single core benchmarks

I can't wait for Zen2 but AMD fans are embarrassing.

Attached: Epyctler.png (580x742, 838K)

Windows 10 always generated thumbnails slower because of retarded pajeet nigger monkey programmers.

>Single core doesn't matter now

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

AMD is going to make anime real.

>AMD made 16 cores for mainstream a reality

750$ isn't exactly mainstream material, though, even if it costs less than half of Intel's overcosted garbage.

>On Par With A 5.3 GHz 9700K at Just 3.7 GHz
No fucking way that's happening, but I kinda want it to.

AM4 is mainstream.

Where do they get their results from? This is for the ryzen:
Best Bench: 109% Base clock 3.6 GHz, turbo 3.9 GHz (avg)
Worst Bench: 98% Base clock 3.6 GHz, turbo 3.75 GHz (avg)
That's not right. It should boost to 4.2 and there are geekbench results where it does. They also have bullshit like a Q2 release date

And the shitshow continues.

Attached: intel security updates.jpg (4800x2700, 1.83M)

neither is 500-600 for the 9900kelvin but people are buying right regardless

>no product or component can be absolutely secure
Why exactly would I give you my money, again?

Meant to quote

so, every gen in AMD = 3 gens at Intel? how did they get out? at a tiny fraction of the budget. this has to be greatest comeback ever.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH THIS CAN'T BE REAL

Attached: 1542027477262.png (807x745, 205K)

JUST DO IT GOY

the geekbench entries i've seen have all been random engineering samples with lower clocks than the final product is supposed to hit. And usually with shit RAM too, maybe JEDEC validation testing.

That's for the 3950. 3600 has some proper results on x570 even
4.20 all core:

and what looks to be stock:

Although it seems there is no PBO active

>wccftech.com/intel-10nm-ice-lake-sunny-cove-14nm-comet-lake-amd-ryzen-3000-cpu-z-benchmark-leak
>meet the Core2-2
history really is cyclical. The real problem is the yields. Can they deploy the desktop versions in time, or will Zen 3 again go first.

does non-x really not have PBO?

Not meeting shit unless there is at least one more leak on this. You'd think Intel would at least mention performance like this before the ryzen hype makes people make their upgrades this summer. It's either that or they can't properly make them until late next year or something.

NEW!! Single core performance does not matter
NEW!! HEDT doesn't matter

3600 has PBO option, just not enabled in that geekbench sample

SIR PLEASE DELET

yes, but will I finally be able to play games on CEMU without fps dips or RPCS3 without the fucking sound crackling? my i5 7500 is showing its limitations already

>single core performance doesn't matter
>multicore performance also doesn't matter

neither is 600 dollars mainstream for an 8 core intel cpu with dysfunctional hyperthreading

will these come with TSX extensions? if so, they'll be great for console emulation.

Based list poster

Nothing matters!

This seems like a load of horseshit honestly.

Does anyone believe this can really fucking happen?

Actually reading the comments reveals how non-white most Intel users are, god damn they're fucking apes who believe every Chinese leak.

Yeah, a lot of those things don't really matter tho.

Why do CPU companies give so much of a shit what pajeets who can't afford their products use?
