good, pedos should go to jail

>They didnt bust down your door or serve a warrant so they have no real proof of anything and need you to come in and talk to them.
Worst case scenario is they keep coming and eventually get a moment of your time, just tell them you don't speak with police unless a lawyer is present.

Pretty simple stuff my dude

but im not, just want others to be able to browse freely like we are in first world countries

Did you run an exit node or a relay node?

remove wifi password and say it was your neighbours

Exit Relay

You shouldn't run an exit relay from home, even Tor developers don't recommend that.

that was not a very good idea

im fucked aren't i?

idk, i suppose it depends
if they know what a tor exit node is, and that you're running one (is it publicly listed?), then they might just be coming over to scar-- tell you nicely to quit it
if they just saw cheese pizza going through your machine and jump to conclusions though...

police doesnt like competition with their tor nodes

Few years ago my neighbour cut my tires in my beloved moped that I've got when I was twelve. This cocksucker pissed me af doing that so I revenged on him by logging into his Wi-Fi from my old pc and downloading shitload of childporn and stuff later I throw this pc away but before that I backuped some stuff on his hard drive that was connected to his router... not only police arrested this cunt but also his wife requested divorce

based and redpilled

did you download it from torrents? I don't believe police would give a fuck

they should be following you in Twitter lol

>pissed me af
>revenged on him
i hope english isn't your first language

> moped
Of course it isn't.

moped is an english word though, and it's used correctly

I never knew such a term existed until now

it's like a scooter, pronounced "mo-ped"

Why is running an exit relay bad?
t.Tor_noob

Basically Tor works as some sort of chain between you and the server.

The middle ones are called relay nodes, and the last one in the chain is called an exit node.

When you connect to some website, the relays in the middle act as an encrypted tunnel between you and the exit node, the content that passes through them is encrypted, but it needs to be decrypted at the exit node in order to make it to the server. Basically if any illegal shit happens, the author of the exit node will be in deep shit because his IP will be the one that appears to the server. Which is why exit nodes are not recommended to be run at home.

All the tor traffic is rerouted internally to an exit node, where it reaches the internet.
If you go to example.com in tor, your request goes into the tor network and then exits from an exit node, so by hosting an exit node from your house you are literally allowing everyone to commit crimes with your names.

Thank you for explaining. Going to take the tor pill soon, so trying to learn about it so I dont do something dumb.

Who runs exit nodes then?

Feds

Mostly people who have datacenters and can deal with legal crap, I've heard of a few organizations that run exit nodes too.

Would they have to provide logs of who actually requested a page if there was an investigation? Because that'd implicate the last relay node, surely. If not, how do they deal with the legal issues?

(((they))) do. its all one big botnet you all bought into. enjoy your prison penis pedos.

I've never used tor, I just know of it

Even if they provided logs, it's not important because many connections go through the same exit nodes so tracing them back to the original person is near impossible. Anonimity loves company.

The only thing that might be concerning is that an exit node might try to snoop on your traffic, which is why you should always use HTTPS when you're inside Tor.

Based

kek

Ah right

what is ethyl alcohol?

fake and gay, the police didn't check connection logs on the router? They didn't see that all the backed up porn came all at once?

>All the tor traffic is rerouted internally to an exit node, where it reaches the internet.
that's a really, really bad way of describing it
>All the tor traffic is rerouted internally to an exit node
no, only tor traffic which has a clearnet destination (that is, a destination which is otherwise accessible without tor
tor traffic to tor hidden services remains within the tor network, it does not use exit nodes
>where it reaches the internet.
where it reaches the clearnet, all tor traffic is still on "the internet"

That depends on where you live. You can probably explain it away but most likely will be forced to shut it down and at worst get equipment seized.
Give blog.torproject.org/tips-running-exit-node a read since it sounds like you didn't before running an exit node.

why the fuck would you do that? you are fucked op

OP is going to be bred by Bubba in jail

Local PD would never come knocking on anyone's door for such a reason. FBI/Feds would, or some other governmental agency would, but not local LEOS, it's beyond their purview.

Fuck. Even if OP has not done anything illegal, those bastards pieces of shit are going to make it hard for him. Hell, not everyone has so much disposable income to blow off on $500/hr. lawyer.

What an absolute Madlad

*BANG BANG BANG*

borrow a diamon tip drill and a saw blade then go to a random dumpster.
get a new hdd and lawyer up my boy

>Exit Relay
>In your own home

Oh user.

using tor to visit clear net sites safe? no one ever gives me a straight answer.

There is no straightforward answer. If you’re simply browsing the web then you’re fine. If you don’t want the exit node to spy on your traffic, then ensure you’re on the SSL version of the site if possible. A good example is browsing Jow Forums. Remember that SSL only prevents eavesdropping on the actual page you’re on, they will still know the domain (eg. they can’t tell what thread you’re in but they know you’re on Jow Forums).

But, if you want to login to an email for example, you absolutely need to make sure SSL is being used when you login otherwise the exit node can spy on your traffic and steal your credentials. The chance of this happening is very low, since exit nodes are ran by privacy orientated organizations, and most email services, even smaller ones, use SSL nowadays.

not him, but how do you force ssl?

clearly OP is a CP collector

The HTTPS everywhere addon (comes pre-installed in Tor browser) has an option called "Encrypt All Sites Eligible", which will basically block all non-HTTPS traffic, enable it when you launch Tor browser.

Kill all pedos. Anime is degenerate pedo shit.

Nice larping, by this moment you should've been already autobanned from 4chingchong because of "Proxy/VPN", if you're not using a pass.

post the card then faggot
