What's an email provider that won't shut down within the next decade, and doesn't have annoying security features? I need to make about 20 accounts and don't want to use my phone number or be told that I've made too many (can't reset my IP and don't want to use a VPN).
Is it popular enough that it's sure to stay in business for at least 10 years?
Connor Ross
Just buy a domain package somewhere and share it with friends. I pay like 5€ a year for two domains and mail since it's a 10 pack shared across 4 people. Also have user access to the server and the hoster has a self service portal which allows you to install different software if you need.

I don't want to pay or have it connected to my real name, if I can have it free and Anonymous, but I'll keep that as a last resort, thank you.

cock.li will probably be up forever desu

i use tutanota, looks solid and well secured and does not require a phone number
Camden Thompson
Mailfence because you get more bag for your buck then protonmail.

yandex -big powerful company mail.ru -big powerful company tutanota -good rep and good business model proton -good rep and good business model Why do you need 20 accounts for 10 years anyway?
David Gutierrez
The world is too unpredictable to give a 10 year guarantee on any of them. Run your own.
Caleb Gonzalez
I don't mean Anonymous against the NSA. Just that I don't give them my name.
I'll pass on that, thanks.
Is it popular? I've never heard of it.
Thank you very much, I'll check them out. >Why do you need 20 accounts for 10 years anyway? I need to register 20 accounts of some websites, and I don't want to lose access. I most likely won't need them for 10 years (probably even less than half), but I'd rather be safe than to use something that has a chance of shutting down.
Eh, I'll weigh my options.
Anthony Sullivan
What guarantee do you have that the websites you're signing up to wont shut down?
Matthew Powell
Protonmail is a Jew honeypot.
Daniel Wood
He doesn't, OP is a retard. Also you can find source on his pic with yandex, it's a Brazilian woman.
Christian Green
None, but some are more likely than others, so I'm gonna go with those that are less likely.
For example, services that aren't popular can close due to lack of funds, or services that are encryption or privacy oriented can be forced to close down for legal reasons (or do something drastic like Lavabit). By staying away from those and going for something more "normal", I can reduce the risk of having my email shut down.
I don't need privacy for this, so I'd have used Gmail if it didn't require a phone number or have all those annoying security features (that risk keeping me out).

>get a domain. >use yandex connect as the host. >create as much as accounts per domain ("business") >profit
yes, they have many (((investors))) in the US, so it'll be around
Jaxon Morales
Good to know, thank you.
David Lewis
I use nyx.net, a shell provider, that permits making one normal email and one anonymous email address (strictly speaking pseudonymous since you need to identify yourself to Nyx).
I have used Nyx since 1994 and it has been rock solid.
(Better biker added)
>yandex -big powerful company >mail.ru -big powerful company KGB will thank you.
The big mail providers will look for just half an excuse to block you.
I see some have recommended protonmail and I have some accts there but I recently read an article about Firefox possibly strengthening their security shit by having VPN, TOR capabilities n shit and that article also mentioned that Firefox might buy Protonmail.
So I dunno if that's hapoening.
David Brooks
Ah, good to know, thank you.

No thanks. I've lost access to accounts in the past for no reason at all, possibly due to their security checks or whatever.
