Sure for the early AM4 adopters it's nice they had Zen+ and now Zen 2, however going into Zen 2 with full new system might be a really shit idea given uncertainty whether it still has any upgrade path in the future.
AMD made a very vague promise of support "until 2020" and it might very well mean AM4 ends with Zen 2.
