Sounds like some might be seeing something more accurately than we see things, yet we confuse that as schizophrenic potentially. I guess you would have to take into account any cumulative sum of circumstances indicating a schizophrenic mind. It's definitely a thing because some people are just dysfunctionally mad, but the problem is with interpreting borderline skitz cases and people with simply alternative perception to normal people (and that perception being potentially of use to society).
