Why no f-droid? It's easy to setup, just copy what Clover does.

Yeah, the Google data backup feature is pretty random. It asks you which apps you want to restore, but half the ones I selected didn't have any app data restored. Meanwhile the apps I didn't select, because I wanted to start over afresh, when I downloaded them later from the Play Store and opened them up, they were already configured and set up with all the app data from my previous install
