*updates bios after release* thanks for playing intel.

reminder that the Apple A12 scores over 5000 at 2.5GHz. Basically, Intel and AMD are obsolete housefires

S-single-core doesn't matter.

Y-yeah it mattered a few days ago when we thought AMD had the upper hand but n-not now.

spaghettio indeed

Also
>wcfftech
>geekbench

Ryzen 3600 also scored over 5400 in another leak.

>higher clock speed
>higher single-core performance
Shocking.

Yeah, big YIKES from intel isn't the 9900k supposed to be their best processor?

How is the 9700K THAT CLOSE??!?!!???!!?!?!? ALMOST 100 DOLLAR DIFFERENCE!!!!!!1

And yet not even a full 1% difference.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

>10% difference between 3800X and 2700X
I suspect the clock speed is below 4Ghz at this point.

It doesn't though. The benchmark is shitty and false.

single core, you dumb fuck

it only applies to multi core workloads not single threaded performance

ha, beat me to it

Hm, so if it's like ~13% slower single-core I'll be bummed out, but if it's below the 10% gap, it's a winner for me. I was sort of expecting the 9900k to hold around a 5% higher single-core score, which wouldn't matter at all. 10% I could justify it by having greater cores and a lower price, plus an easy upgrade path. Over 10%, I might go Intel.

DELID THIS

I'll wait till the 3733 cl14 ram benches and 5ghz ocs come out.
Mobo bioses will need a bit to mature so I'm gonna wait and plop in a 3600x in my x470 next year or so

Then it thermal throttles and uv uc for non benchmark applications
I'd like to see it + newer post rdna arch gpus in a desktop tho
Sucks all tge best arm tech is stuck in faggot phablets

Geekbench score is 1/5th memory speed which scales independently of core clock. If you go from 2666 to 3733 memory your score will be about 10% higher from that alone.

Not to mention Zen also loves faster low latency memory and benifits alot from timing tweaks and all these benches don't have the scheduling fix and chipset updates yet

>muh 7 nanometers
>muh superior chink manufacturing
>muh cores
>muh chiplets
>muh better yields
>muh finally competing with Intel on more than just price

I have an i5 7600 running at stock speeds and using the piece of shit cooler that came with it.

I have a better single core speed than the current AMD flagship.

>goybench
The same useless piece of shit that always gives apple's bionicle chips an advantage on mobile benchmarks. It's like the the biggest companies can afford to bribe them to put them ahead of the competition or something

AMD IS FINISHED AND BANKRUPT

Attached: YztHCaKyk0M.webm (1920x1080, 2.45M)

in this piece of shit joke of a benchmark

And much higher price.

Attached: 1561488420407.png (2543x1297, 157K)

Is that a tranny?

Yeah it's expensive, But nobody can deny it's a great cpu

Sure. If you are a whale. Go for it.

Nobody would use this cooler, but I wanted to save even more money for you intards,

Attached: 1561488659677.png (2543x1297, 162K)

Have even more savings. Still not as good a buy as a Zen 2 3600. Probably not even as good as a 3700X + 3733Mhz and Low end X570 combo.

Attached: 1561488878937.png (2543x1297, 160K)

If intel lowered prices by 20% amd would be dead in the water

>Like AMD would not lower a bit more if that happens.
Cry moar.

lol about what?

>Ryzen 3600 $199
>Most popular X470 board $139
>16GB DDR4 3200Mhz $100
$438

Comes close to 8700K performance and after all the benchmarks, chipset driver and BIOS updates may even beat it.

>poorfags still shilling amd
lol

>Whales still shilling performance over value for money
kek

With every Zen release there's always some meltdown kek
This one in particular will be glorious, Intel would have nothing left except maybe a 10 fps delta, a gorillion security vulnerabilities, and sun heat density. Reminder that even though they'll probably do an Athlon 5GHz edition with binned chiplets next year there's no Zen 2+ since Milan is on track; 2020 Zen 3 baby.

My CPU of choice will be the 3950x, how did you know?

Attached: chad reply.jpg (912x1024, 71K)

Only on older games and games with 5 year old game engines on DX11 or a shitty DX12 wrapper.

>The competition can't compete.
/thread

cross platform/architecture comparison using geekbench is useless, learn how it works.

Exactly, we can all agree Geekbench is a fucking sorry of an excuse of a benchmark.

>telling clock speed from performance
Watch this, pleb.
youtube.com/watch?v=OFgxAFdxYAQ
Already a bit dated, but you should get the basic idea.

>y-you o-only need 4 cores for gaming goy..folks
>AMD brings Ryzen
>better through the bank, since multi-core process scheduling hasn't been stuck in the 90s
>l-look ours can do multi-threading now as well
>still lose to Ayymd
>intel in 2019
>ONLY 4 CORES FOR EVERYONE
>literally exceeding in a field irrelevant to the masses
>essentially showing of the strength of your bred horses while the car has already been invented and exceeded the horse a 100 years ago.

show all the categories, pajeet. You know, the ones with actual real world relevance and not the ones build for marketing phrases from the early 2000s.
Or a single core performance chart from one specifically optimized game.
You absolute fucking faggot.

>single core
Now multiply it by double digit numbers for Ryzen and by 4 for Incel eternal quad core.
