Reminder that OpenBSD simply does not create CVEs for most security issues
Reminder that OpenBSD shipped with a vulnerable OpenSSL well after heartbleed was published and didn't even release fixed binaries, they only told users to compile a version from source because "security updates are installable from source only, thats how we roll"

what did rajesh mean by this?

*BSD is for cucks who weren't allowed to take part of linux development and for corporatecucks

Windows isn't the kernel.

That picture is comparing *kernel* vulnerabilities.

You aren't gonna run Windows kernel on a Linux system so this is deceptive at best LOL

>linux
>1000 products

what those this mean?

intellectual retardation: the post.

Cope

linux was a mistake

Fixed.

hmmmmm

Linux is bundled with thousands of different distros developed by various companies
Windows can be classified as 1 product but with different versions and editions, 99% of the software is the same no matter which edition

FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD are operating systems, not kernels, and the Linux category is purposely ambiguous.
Literally apples to oranges.
0/10 Pajeet, try again.

imagine being this retarded

where is this slide from? I'd like to see the whole context, if possible

Free the people.

This is comparing kernels, faggot

OpenBSD, FreeBSD, and NetBSD are not kernels.

Do you understand what "kernel LoC" means?

So how do they communicate with hardware then? Do you think that they don't have kernels?

Of course they have kernels, but "NetBSD" is not a kernel, it is an operating system.

Finally, an operating system made just for us PoC.

It is a complete operating system, and it has a kernel. Don't play dumb.

>It is a complete operating system
Exactly, and that's why this graph is misleading. "Windows NT" is referring to the NT kernel alone, not the Windows operating system. If they included the Windows operating system, the CVE list would be much bigger, as pointed out.

Linux for Niggers was developed BY niggas FOR niggas. We recognize the generous donations made by Kentucky Fried Chicken and Kraft Foods through Kool-Aid sale donations.

Not him, but:

Why would they include the Windows operating system? This post is about kernels only, it's not misleading.

Is it?
>products 1000

No shit because he included the entire OS in the graph you fucking retard.

Yes? At least I interpret "products" as "devices running this kernel"?

That's exactly my FUCKING point.

So why the fuck did you reply to me, idiot?

>t. retard

Well?

Can you guys shut the fuck up and discuss the actual topic instead?

The CVE list for OpenBSD, NetBSD, FreeBSD, and Linux are including CVEs from the entire OS, not just the kernel, whereas the Windows chart is simply listing CVEs from the kernel. That's why it's misleading.

Linux is not an OS, what are you talking about?

Yep, so why is Microsoft including OS CVEs?

Thanks famiglia

Because I nigger'd out. Sorry, user.

>B-BUT IT'S UNFAIR!! LINUX IS GOOD, WE SWEAR!
>linux still has 10x more CVEs
lmao

For those who are curious, the picture is in minute 8:20 in the video. It is authentic.

Oh no no no no, my fellow Linux users. We are being blown out in this thread, what do we do?

>he thinks people will find vulnerabilities in a kernel that nobody uses

Windows kernel:
Used by every desktop around you
*BSDs: used in banks, large corporations (especially Netflix) due to their security and reliability.
Are you sure that nobody uses those?
